DICE awards

The ceremony for the 26th Annual DICE Awards has just concluded, with Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope emerging as the winner for the “Family Game of the Year” category. While Nintendo games are no strangers to winning awards for “Best Family Game” at a given show, it’s still a big honor for a game and its developers to be recognized in this way.

Nintendo may not have made a huge splash at this year’s DICE Awards, but you can still check out the winners of all of the other categories below:

The 2022 DICE Awards Ceremony has just ended, and a couple of Switch exclusive games have won honors. This year Pokemon Unite, developed by TiMi Studio Group and The Pokemon Company, came away with the title of Mobile Game of the Year.

Additionally, Mario Golf: Super Rush, developed by Camelot, claimed the mantle of Sports Game of the Year.

These awards are great honors for the games and their development teams, and all of the award winners (including some more Switch games) can be found in the list below.

With another D.I.C.E Awards show in the books, several Nintendo titles walked away with wins across multiple categories.

While Sony’s God of War took home the most awards, Celeste was the only other title to score big in more than one category. In addition, both Mario Tennis Aces and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate were selected in their respective sports and fighting game categories.

The full list of award winners can be viewed below.

A special log-in bonus of 20 orbs and 2018 feathers awaits players when they log in to Fire Emblem Heroes today. This is to celebrate the game winning the category “Best Mobile” at the 2018 DICE Awards recently.

Also, it’s the start of a new month, which means three new sets of quests for March are now live. As always, you have until the end of this month to complete them.

Nintendo games were chosen for three categories at the DICE awards last night. Super Smash Bros. for Wii U was selected as last year’s best fighter, while Smash Bros. 3DS was named the best handheld game of 2014. Mario Kart 8 picked up the award for best racing game.
