SmileBoom looking into SmileBASIC release for Europe

SmileBASIC launched in Japan last year, and in North America last week. Europe is one major region that does not yet have the application though.
There’s good news and bad news. Developer SmileBoom is looking into the possibility of bringing SmileBASIC to Europe, but there’s nothing concrete just yet.
The company wrote on the official website for the 3DS download:
“As soon as we announced the release date of SmileBASIC we are getting lots of e-mails asking the release in European regions. We are considering the European release aggressively and will make an announcement once we made a decision.”

Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition coming to the EU Wii U eShop next week, 25% discount

Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition is the next Wii download for Wii U in Europe. On Twitter, Nintendo announced that the game will be available starting on October 29. Those who purchase Resident Evil 4 by November 5 can receive a 25 percent discount.

Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival might be retail-only in Europe

At least in Europe, the only way to purchase Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival could be through the retail bundle. A listing on the eShop suggests that a digital version will not be made available. We don’t have official confirmation straight from Nintendo at the moment, but this is what we have to go on at the moment.
Free 3DS theme for Zelda: Tri Force Heroes eShop download (Europe)

European 3DS owners can receive a free theme for downloading Zelda: Tri Force Heroes from the Nintendo eShop before November 19, 2015. This theme seems to only be available for those who choose to buy a copy through digital download.
Nintendo UK begins competition for Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer

In celebration of releasing Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, Nintendo UK has created a weekly contest for fans. UK entrants will submit designs based around a theme, and one lucky winner will be picked weekly. The winner will receive a Series 1 Animal Crossing amiibo cards Pack and an Animal Crossing amiibo cards collectors album (series 1).
This week’s theme is “A Blue Room” and will run from October 23rd until October 29th. To enter just share a screenshot of the design to the Nintendo UK Twitter channel.
