Melty Blood: Type Lumina update 1.3.3

Another update has been released for Melty Blood: Type Lumina, with players now having access to version 1.3.3.

Today’s update is largely about bug fixes. The game has addressed issues relating to a few characters, systems, modes, and more.

The full patch notes for the Melty Blood: Type Lumina version 1.3.3 update are as follows:

Initially, Melty Blood: Type Lumina’s latest update featuring new playable characters Neco-Arc and Mash Kyrielight was set to release today, August 19. While this update has gone live for most platforms, it seems something has fallen through for the Switch version.

As announced by the developers, the newest update for Melty Blood: Type Lumina, including both the new characters and balance changes, has been delayed for Switch. The update is still set to release on the platform, but no new date for it has been provided, with the developers assuring that they’ll provide more information once a new schedule is set.

Melty Blood Type Lumina Saber

Saber – otherwise known as Artoria Pendragon – has been confirmed for Melty Blood: Type Lumina as the game’s final playable character, Project Lumina has announced. The character is voiced by Ayako Kawasumi.

Saber is a knight with braided blonde hair, shining blue and silver armor, plus “a somewhat cold attitude.” She founded the Knights of the Round Table. A well-known person from the legends of King Arthur, Saber wields the holy sword Excalibur. She ended up in this world without the use of a summoning ritual. Saber is now searching Souya for answers to this mystery.

Here’s a trailer for Saber in Melty Blood: Type Lumina:

Melty Blood: Type Lumina Vlov

Melty Blood: Type Lumina has only a couple of weeks to go until launch, but Project Lumina and French-Bread just revealed Vlov Arkhangel as the game’s latest character. He’s the nineteenth of The Twenty-seven Dead Apostle Ancestors in Tsukihime.

According to the official website, Vlov is a Dead Apostle from the frozen lands of the far north who has arrived in the city of Souya. As a being starved of warmth, he feeds on blood for feed that he can then use to create flames. One of his abilities allows Vlov to switch from Flame Mode to Ice Mode when in danger. In doing so, his abilities are greatly expanded, “granting him nearly unrivaled strength.”

Melty Blood Type Lumina Michael Roa Valdamjong

Michael Roa Valdamjong will be playable in Melty Blood: Type Lumina, publisher Project Lumina and developer French-Bread just announced. The character originates from the visual novel Tsukihime.

Michael Roa Valdamjong is a vampire who also goes by “Serpent of Akasha” or “Infinite Reincarnator”. He’s the former priest of the Holy Church, and can manipulate information and electricity at will. It’s said that “the story of Roa appearing in Souya that came to him predicts the possibilities he might have had following a chance encounter with Arcueid and Shiki.”
