Melty Blood: Type Lumina

The newest update for Melty Blood: Type Lumina has now gone live, bringing the game up to version 1.4.1. The update, which was released last year for other platforms and has now finally been brought to Switch, fixes some issues with the two latest characters to be added to the game, as well as some other general bug fixes. Melty Blood Type Lumina Ushiwakamaru and The Count of Monte Cristo

The next major update for Melty Blood: Type Lumina will be released next week featuring Ushiwakamaru and The Count of Monte Cristo as new playable characters, it’s been announced. Players can access it starting on December 15, 2022.

Ushiwakamaru and The Count of Monte Cristo are characters who appeared in the smartphone game Fate/Grand Order, and are now coming to the Switch fighter. On top of that, Face the Surging Waves and Prison Tower – Hall will be added as new stages. The two originate from Ushiwakamaru. Other additions include Boss Rush with a story written by Kinoko Nasu, ten free remastered music tracks from Melty Blood: Actress Again, four new color variations / color palettes for all characters, roughly 530 free words that can be used in “Customize”, and support for Spanish, French, and Brazilian Portuguese.

As part of the update, ten remastered music tracks have been added. Bug fixes and more are also included.

Another update has been released for Melty Blood: Type Lumina, with players now having access to version 1.3.3.

Today’s update is largely about bug fixes. The game has addressed issues relating to a few characters, systems, modes, and more.

Initially, Melty Blood: Type Lumina’s latest update featuring new playable characters Neco-Arc and Mash Kyrielight was set to release today, August 19. While this update has gone live for most platforms, it seems something has fallen through for the Switch version.

As announced by the developers, the newest update for Melty Blood: Type Lumina, including both the new characters and balance changes, has been delayed for Switch. The update is still set to release on the platform, but no new date for it has been provided, with the developers assuring that they’ll provide more information once a new schedule is set.

Melty Blood: Type Lumina Neco-Arc and Mash Kyrielight

Original (7/31): Neco-Arc and Mash Kyrielight are joining Melty Blood: Type Lumina as new DLC characters, Project Lumina and French-Bread announced today. Both will be available this summer with new character stories and battle stages at no extra cost.

Four new playable DLC characters are on the way to Melty Blood: Type Lumina, it’s been announced.

The identities of the characters have yet to be revealed. However, we do know that the first two are dropping this summer with the other two planned for the winter.

Players can also look forward to more free updates in the future. These will come with expanded functions, game balance adjustments, and bug fixes. You can find more information regarding what’s planned below.

Melty Blood: Type Lumina Mario Ciel

Powered Ciel and Mario Gallo Bestino are joining Melty Blood: Type Lumina as free DLC characters next week, it’s been announced. The update is set to arrive on April 14, 2022.

The DLC will also include two new stages with new music: Battle at the Threshold and Actions in the Lower World. That’s along with five color variations and five color palettes for all characters, which can be accessed from “Color Customize” mode.
