Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate shipments surpass 2 million units in Japan

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate has already shipped two million copies in Japan, Capcom has revealed. That number accounts for product in store shelves as well as sales from download cards and the eShop.
As of October 15, total Monster Hunter series sales are over 31 million units.

Five new games will be available on the Japanese Wii U Virtual Console next week. They are as follows:
Salamander (PC Engine, 617 yen)
Power Golf (PC Engine, 617 yen)
Mega Man Zero (GBA, 702 yen)
The Tower of Babel (Famicom, 514 yen)
Bases Loaded (Famicom, 514 yen)
The games above are hitting the Japanese eShop on October 22.

Aplus bringing Killca Drive, 6×1≠Unlimited to 3DS

Aplus has a pair of new 3DS titles in development. Killca Drive and 6×1?Unlimited are both due out sometime within the next few months.
Killca Drive features turn-based card battles, and cards are collected before fighting. The game will offer a story – set in the near future where a new card game called Killca Drive is taking Japan by storm – and multiplayer modes. It will be possible to trade cards with other players and fight friends using local wireless connectivity.
Killca Drive is due out in Japan this winter. Aplus’ other 3DS title 6×1?Unlimited is also slated for the same release window.

Japanese gamers line up for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and New 3DS

The launches of Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and New 3DS make for a pretty powerful combo. Photos from Japan have appeared showing long lines for both products at different locations, including Tsutaya in Shibuya and Bic Camera in Ikebukuro. Most shots were snapped between 6 AM and 7 AM, so the demand was certainly there!
