Nintendo announced today that the price of the 2DS will be reduced on August 30. On that day, the system will only cost $99.99, down from the current suggested retail price of $129.99.

All 2DS units in North America will continue to come with the digital version of Mario Kart 7.

This Sunday, Target will have over 100 Wii U, Wii, and 3DS games on sale. Discounts will vary between 20 percent and 70 percent.

We only know of a few sale prices thus far. You can get a look at the first six games confirmed for Target’s promotion above.

A trio of Wii U titles are on sale over on Amazon and Best Buy. Both retailers have discounted Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Mario Kart 8, and Mario Party 10 by $15. The sale should last through the next week.

It’s not much of a discount, but I’ll also mention that Best Buy has the Splatoon Wii U bundle for $25 off. This will also be on sale through the following week.
