Shovel Knight has seen 25% of its total sales from Switch

Shovel Knight has been on just about every platform you can imagine. That includes Switch, a system that Nintendo came out with long after the game’s release. Despite that, it’s been doing pretty well on the platform.
During an interview with Destructoid, Yacht Club Games’ Sean Velasco and David D’Angelo mentioned that Switch accounts for “25% of total sales on all platforms,” which the team feels is “wild”. Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove is said to be selling “decently” on all platforms overall.

Yacht Club Games has finally set a release date for all of the upcoming Shovel Knight products. Shovel Knight: King of Cards, Shovel Knight Showdown, the physical version of Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove for Switch, the new amiibo 3-pack, and Gold Edition amiibo all launch on December 10.

Yacht Club Games announced today that they reached a major milestone: development of both Shovel Knight: King of Cards and Shovel Knight Showdown is now complete. This means that development on everything that was announced in the initial Kickstarter campaign for Shovel Knight is now finished, and Yacht Club Games can move on to other projects.
Both Shovel Knight: King of Cards and Shovel Knight Showdown are planned for a release on Nintendo Switch in December.
