Super Mario 3D World 3-Pack figures to be released by Jakks Pacific

Jakks Pacific unveiled its Super Mario Bowser’s Airship Playset yesterday. That isn’t the only upcoming Mario product figure from the company, however.
Announced today is the Super Mario 3D World 3-Pack, which features figures for Cat Peach, Cat Mario, and Cat Luigi. Each one stands at four-inches and can be posed.
The Super Mario 3D World 3-Pack will release this fall. Pricing is set at $39.99.

Tetris 99 – 20th Maximus Cup announced, features Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury theme

Nintendo has announced the 20th Maximus Cup for Tetris 99. A new theme is being added to the lineup, which is based on Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury.
Players can unlock it by accumulating at least 100 event points. Once that mark is reached, you’ll get the theme featuring art, music and Tetrimino designs inspired by Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury.

My Nintendo Europe offering Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury lenticular magnet set

A new Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury reward has been added to My Nintendo in Europe. For 350 Platinum Points, members can redeem the a lenticular magnet set.
Five magnets are included in total with a lenticular effect in a polybag with inlay. Mario/Cat Mario, Luigi/Cat Luigi, Peach/Cat Peach, and Toad/Cat Toad are featured. You can move the magnets to see how each image changes.

Most Mario games only have you playing as Mario himself, but Super Mario 3D World is a bit different. Other characters from the Mushroom Kingdom can be used and even have their own abilities and gimmicks.
Toad is fully playable in Super Mario 3D World, but Toadette is not. However, based on a bit of datamining, it seems that Nintendo at least toyed around with the idea.

Early data is in for Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, which shows that the Switch release is off to a good start. It’s been revealed that the game’s launch was three times bigger than the Wii U original based on physical sales.
As of now, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury is the third biggest Mario platform launch on Switch. It’s behind Super Mario Odyssey and Super Mario 3D All-Stars.
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury was the top seller in the UK this past week, and we should have more rankings soon. We’ll post the full chart on the site when it’s available.
