Sally Face physical

Super Rare Games, in partnership with Portal Moose, today announced a physical release for Sally Face on Switch. The horror point-and-click adventure game will have three different versions.

The first version is the standard edition with all the current content on its cart, a full-color manual, interior artwork, an exclusive sticker, and trading cards. The Steelbook Edition takes things a step further by adding a postcard and a slipcover. Finally, the Collector’s Edition features an embroidered Sally Face patch, a Super Gear Boy pin, a soundtrack CD, 6 polaroid photos, and an A3 poster. Super Rare Games will produce 3,000 standard copies, 500 Steelbook Editions, and 1,500 Collector’s Editions.

Post Void

Publisher Super Rare Originals and developer YCJY Games have announced that Post Void, an arcade style first-person shooter, is coming to Switch. It will release on the console this spring.

Post Void has players wielding a pistol in one hand and an idol containing their health in the other. The ultimate goal is to get through each run as quickly as possible across procedurally generated levels. It’s about reaching the oasis at the end of each level and retrieve a random upgrade.

Book of Demons physical

Book of Demons, which first appeared on Switch in August 2020, is now getting the physical treatment on Switch. Super Rare Games will be responsible for distribution.

4,000 copies will be up for grabs. Each unit includes all the current content on its cart, a full-color manual, interior artwork, an exclusive sticker, and trading cards.

Grapple Dog gameplay

Ahead of its debut next week, gameplay has come in for the action platformer Grapple Dog. Fans can get an early look with 24 minutes of footage.

Grapple Dog

Publisher Super Rare Originals and developer Medallion Games announced today that Grapple Dogs, a 2D action platformer, is on the way to Switch. A release is set for February 10.

This will be one of the first titles under the Super Rare Originals line. As the name implies, you’ll be able to use a grappling hook throughout the game, which has a lot of jumping, swinging, and zipping. There are six worlds to explore with 33 stages filled with hidden collectibles, secrets, boss battles, and bonus levels.

Horace physical

A physical version of the story-driven platformer Horace is on the way to Switch, it’s been announced. Super Rare Games will be in charge of distribution.

Horace appeared on Switch in October 2020, though only as a digital title. This marks the first time it will be available physically.

Super Rare Games has announced Bloodroots as its first physical Switch game of 2022.

4,000 copies will be produced in total. Each copy includes all the current content on its cart, a full-colour manual, interior artwork, an exclusive sticker, and trading cards. Super Rare Games titles ship soon after going on sale.

Caveblazers physical

Super Rare Games, in partnership with Yogscast Games and Deadpan Games, has announced plans to produce a physical version of Caveblazers.

Caveblazers originally landed on Switch in January 2019. This is the first time it will have a boxed version.

Heaven's Machine

Switch has seen its fair share of digital-only titles, but Super Rare Games is going in the opposite direction with Heaven’s Machine.

Heaven’s Machine is the company’s first original release under its new Super Rare Shorts label line. The fast-paced roguelite, made by ITTA and House of God developer Glass Revolver, will only be offered as a physical release. There are no plans to distribute the title digitally on the eShop.

Dogworld physical

Super Rare Games, in partnership with Lateralis, has announced a physical version of the 1-bit action platformer Dogworld.

The company will produce 3,000 copies in total. Each unit includes all the current content on its cart, a full-color manual, interior artwork, an exclusive sticker, and trading cards.
