Post Void delayed

Post Void has been delayed to September, according to publisher Super Rare Games and developer YCJY Games.

The title was first announced for Switch in February. In June, it was given a July 21 release date. We’re in August now, and Super Rare Games has provided an update about the situation. The company didn’t go into specifics, but said that the extra time is being used for polish and to “make it perfect”.

Aerial Knight's Never Yield physical

Today, Super Rare Games announced that it’s partnering with publisher Headup and developer Aerial_Knight on a physical release of Aerial Knight’s Never Yield for Switch.

4,000 units will be made. Each copy includes all the current content on its cart, including “Da Update”, a full-color manual, interior artwork, an exclusive sticker, and trading cards.

Post Void release date

Super Rare Games and YCJY Games have shared a final release date for Post Void, their arcade style first-person shooter. The Switch title will be ready to go on July 21, 2022.

Wytchwood physical

Super Rare Games has announced a partnership with Whitethorn Digital and Alientrap to produce a physical version of Wytchwood on Switch.

Each copy comes with all the current content on its cart, a full-color manual, interior artwork, an exclusive sticker, and trading cards. 4,000 copies will be made.

Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos physical

Super Rare Games announced today that in partnership with Team17 and Heliocentric Studios, it’s producing a physical version of Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos.

4,000 copies will be made. Each unit contains all the current content, including the recent Druids & Dungeons Update, on its cart, a full-color manual, interior artwork, an exclusive sticker, and trading cards.

Superliminal physical

Super Rare Games, in partnership with Pillow Castle, today revealed plans for a physical release of Superliminal. The first-person puzzle game will have three boxed versions.

The first one is the simplest, as it’s the standard edition. Buyers will get all the current content on its cart, a full-color manual, interior artwork, an exclusive sticker, and trading cards. 3,000 units will be made.

Archvale physical

Archvale came to Switch last year, but it never saw a physical release. Thankfully, that’s about to change.

Super Rare Games has announced that it’s partnering with Humble Games as well as Idoz & Phops to produce a physical version of Archvale. 4,000 copies of the top-down bullet-hell RPG will be made for Switch. Each copy contains all the current content on its cart, a full-color manual, interior artwork, an exclusive sticker, and trading cards. 

Flynn: Son of Crimson physical

For the first time, Flynn: Son of Crimson is getting a physical release on Switch. Super Rare Games is partnering with Humble Games and Studio Thunderhorse to make the boxed version a reality.

Flynn: Son of Crimson, a 2D action platformer, originally hit Switch in September 2021.

Sally Face physical

Super Rare Games, in partnership with Portal Moose, today announced a physical release for Sally Face on Switch. The horror point-and-click adventure game will have three different versions.

The first version is the standard edition with all the current content on its cart, a full-color manual, interior artwork, an exclusive sticker, and trading cards. The Steelbook Edition takes things a step further by adding a postcard and a slipcover. Finally, the Collector’s Edition features an embroidered Sally Face patch, a Super Gear Boy pin, a soundtrack CD, 6 polaroid photos, and an A3 poster. Super Rare Games will produce 3,000 standard copies, 500 Steelbook Editions, and 1,500 Collector’s Editions.

Post Void

Publisher Super Rare Originals and developer YCJY Games have announced that Post Void, an arcade style first-person shooter, is coming to Switch. It will release on the console this spring.

Post Void has players wielding a pistol in one hand and an idol containing their health in the other. The ultimate goal is to get through each run as quickly as possible across procedurally generated levels. It’s about reaching the oasis at the end of each level and retrieve a random upgrade.
