Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

In just a short while, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be going down for maintenance. Nintendo is temporarily disabling online functionality in order to “improve your experience”.

Maintenance will take place during the following times:

One of the most surprising announcements made during The Game Awards last night is the inclusion of Joker from Persona 5 as Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s first DLC pack character. To celebrate the news, Atlus shared some art on social media. We’ve attached it above.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has revealed a new DLC character for its first pack. Joker from Persona 5 is on the way, Nintendo announced at The Game Awards.

Nintendo has posted the full patch notes for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate version 1.1.0. It’s confirmed to add a hard difficulty in Adventure mode, enable online features, and more.

We are now mere hours away from the launch of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. To celebrate the occasion, Nintendo UK is holding a special launch day live stream less than three hours from now, at 3PM GMT. They will be joined by representatives from Capcom, Konami, Square Enix, Bandai Namco and SEGA, i.e. developers who have characters represented in Smash. The stream will take place on Nintendo UK’s Twitch page.
