Warriors: Abyss has received its previously announced July update. This update includes characters from the Ninja Gaiden series, new modes, and an onslaught of game balances and adjustments.

Zelda Breath of the Wild 1.8.2 Tears of the Kingdom 1.4.2 update

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom both received updates today, with the two moving up to versions 1.8.2 and 1.4.2 respectively.

Both are mainly about improving things with Zelda Notes. On top of that, for Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Nintendo has addressed an issue with background music not being played on Switch 2.

Fantasy Life i 1.4.0 update

Another big update has dropped for Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time, with players now having access to version 1.4.0.

On Nintendo Switch 2, Level-5 has adjusted the game’s rendering to improve blurriness. The game has also received new Area Challenges, new materials, new armor, and new objects. Various adjustments and bug fixes are also included.

The Plucky Squire has revealed a major “Challenge” update. It will soon be made available on Nintendo Switch, though there’s no exact date just yet.

The big thing here is, naturally, Challenge Mode. This is a difficulty boost with new enemies, harder minigames, harder bosses, and more. Players can also access Iron Squire mode featuring permadeath.

Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark trailer

Inti Creates had previously announced that they would be supporting Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark with four monthly updates. Their third update has just been announced and should be available today.

Bluey The Videogame Muffin & Uncle Stripe update

Bluey: The Videogame has been on Nintendo Switch for a couple of years now, but the game just received a free “Muffin & Uncle Stripe” update.

As the title of the patch implies, you can now play as Muffin and Uncle Stripe. You’ll collect flamingos and rackets, unlock new pictures for the Sticker book, and swap stars and medals for special rewards.

Splatoon 3 10.0.1 update

Another update for Splatoon 3 is incoming, with Nintendo prepping version 10.0.1. It should be available for all players tonight.

A number of bugs will be addressed one installed. Nintendo is fixing an issue with lag as well as out-of-bounds glitches on Urchin Underpass, and a specific problem with SplatNet 3.

Worms Armageddon Anniversary Edition Backworms Compatible update

Worms Armageddon: Anniversary Edition today was given a brand new “Backworms Compatible” update. This was previously teased late last year.

The update brings along Worms (SNES), Worms (SEGA Genesis) and Worms World Party (Game Boy Advance). Additionally, players can take advantage of the ‘Boggy B’ cheat code which unlocks all content – it’s toggleable in the options.

Mario Kart World 1.1.2 update

Nintendo just cranked out another Mario Kart World update, and version 1.1.2 is here.

This update is led by an adjustment to the Random option in wireless VS Races. On top of that, there are a few fixes, including a couple of specific ones for Dino Dino Jungle and Bullet Bill.

Warriors Abyss update Ryu Hayabusa, Ayane, Rachel, Momiji

Ninja Gaiden characters Ryu Hayabusa, Ayane, Rachel, and Momiji are all coming to Warriors: Abyss with a brand new update. The next patch drops on July 4, 2025.

All four characters will also be featured with cosmetic DLC. Players will have the opportunity to get their hands on the Master Ninja Formal Costume Set and Master Ninja Legacy Costume Set.
