Mortal Kombat 1 just received its latest update for January 2025.
It was confirmed that Conan the Barbarian would be available starting today, and that’s the main highlight of the update. That’s far from all though as there’s a new wave of balance adjustments, fixes, and more.

August 7: We’ve got the latest on the performance of Balatro, with sales surpassing two million and a gameplay update is planned for 2025.
Publisher Playstack and developer LocalThunk are planning a “Three-of-a-Kind of Surprises” campaign. The first announcement, as already stated, is that there’ll be a major update next year. This will add “new ideas and strategies to the game” at no extra cost.

Metal Slug Tactics 1.0.3 update out now, patch notes

As a heads up for Metal Slug Tactics players, a new version 1.0.3 update is now starting to go out.
The patch includes some new features, improved balancing, and loads of bug fixes. Among the highlights are new weapon mods to change the user’s Max HP and an improvement to the algorithm that randomly draws missions in a biome.

Rogue Flight update adds Void Challenge Mode

Perp Games and Truant Pixels are back with the latest major update for Rogue Flight, and the space combat title has now received a Void Challenge Mode.
The mode has players testing their skills from Friday to Sunday every weekend. Also, for one weekend every month, players are invited to submit their best scores to potentially win real-life prizes.

Lollipop Chainsaw Repop getting update with Photo Mode, Goth Outfit

Dragami Games has announced a new update for Lollipop Chainsaw Repop that will add a Photo Mode and Goth Outfit to the game. Nintendo Switch players will be able to download it in early February.
Similar to other games, players will be able to pause the action whenever they please and take in-game photos. There are ways to change the camera angle, depth of field, poses, and facial expressions. Filters and frames will be supported.

Digital Eclipse just came out with a new update for Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind update which brings along online play. After the patch is installed, it should show as version 1.0.5.
Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind did technically have online play, but that was based on your platform. Nintendo Switch and Xbox missed out on the feature with Digital Eclipse promising that the functionality would be added in later. Thankfully, the wait for its arrival was only about a month.

8-Bit Adventures 2 just dropped a major update on Nintendo Switch which is highlighted by the inclusion of a post-game dungeon.
The dungeon can be accessed after finishing the main story. It also comes with new a new town, new super bosses, new music, and more. All of this is entirely free.

The team behind Rebel Transmute just wrapped up a massive update known as “Enter the Synapse”.
This just went live on PC and will soon be on Nintendo Switch. This patch comes following six months of development. There’s new content between added bosses and a new weapon. On top of that, a ton of balance adjustments, polish, and fixes are included.

It’s been a long time coming, but the Nintendo Switch version of Bang-On Balls: Chronicles will finally receive the “Wild West” update next week. The patch goes live on January 17, 2025.
This update previously made it to the PC version last May. Players will be able to explore five new regions, ranging from the dusty saloons to the treacherous oil fields. Also included are tons of new items to collect, including classic revolvers and shotguns, sneaky bows and arrows, and even a lasso.
