Ubisoft reported its latest financial results this week, and during a financial call, an unannounced Nintendo Switch 2 game was teased.

The publisher was speaking about its lineup over the next few months. Star Wars Outlaws is the only Nintendo Switch 2 game that Ubisoft has officially revealed, but there seems to be something else on the way. Ubisoft has a couple of mystery titles in the pipeline, and one of these will be coming to Nintendo’s new console.

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said during the call:

Evil Empire and Ubisoft have not yet announced whether The Rogue Prince of Persia will be making its way to Nintendo Switch. The game has been making preparations to launch on Steam, but amidst this there is evidence to suggest the game’s arrival on Nintendo’s console.

An Australian classification of The Rogue Prince of Persia have surfaced not only for PC, but on Nintendo Switch as well. This doesn’t necessarily guarantee the game’s arrival on the system, but it does open the door for possibility. We are also still awaiting clarification for if the Sands of Time Remake will be heading its way over to Nintendo Switch, so this is just adding more sand on the pile.

Davide noted that there “was too much overthinking about it all around me.”

Prince of Persia The Lost Crown sales no sequel

October 22: Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown won’t be getting a sequel as despite its critical success, from a sales standpoint, the game apparently didn’t meet expectations.

Origami Media reported on its findings today. Supposedly, while the team was interested in working on a sequel, Ubisoft wasn’t on board. It ultimately comes down to sales. Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown didn’t sell what Ubisoft had hoped, and also felt that a new entry would impact the performance of the original game.

Here’s a translation of what Origami Media shared:
