Original (3/27): Ubisoft has announced that it will host a Ubisoft Forward Live event on June 12, 2023. The company will be providing fans with updates on projects it has in development, and there’s a good chance we’ll be hearing about Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope DLC here. We know that the event will be happening in Los Angeles, but further information is not yet available.

Ubisoft previously announced that it would be appearing at E3 2023. However, it has since decided against that, with a spokesperson stating the company “made the subsequent decision to move in a different direction”.

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope demo

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope has been out for a few months now, but a demo has just been made available. It can be accessed right now on the eShop.

Ubisoft says the demo is comprised with “the prologue and much of the first planet of the game, Beacon Beach”. If you have interest in seeing what the game has to offer, there’s no harm in giving it a download as it’s free.

A new trailer has come online for the Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope Tower of Doooom DLC, which is the first piece of the game’s season pass. A teaser was previously shown, but we now have a proper look.

As a reminder, the DLC involves Madame Bwahstrella asking Mario, Rabbid Peach, and their friends to clean her multi-dimensional tower and save their old friend Spawny. Included is a new combat game mode in which players take on highly strategic battles as they make their way to the top of the Tower.

The ceremony for the 26th Annual DICE Awards has just concluded, with Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope emerging as the winner for the “Family Game of the Year” category. While Nintendo games are no strangers to winning awards for “Best Family Game” at a given show, it’s still a big honor for a game and its developers to be recognized in this way.

Nintendo may not have made a huge splash at this year’s DICE Awards, but you can still check out the winners of all of the other categories below:
