Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition has now been officially revealed. The game launches for Switch on July 18, 2024.
Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition pays tribute to the 1990 tournament held in 1990, 2015, and 2017. The game features a variety of bite-sized bits of classic blockbusters, and there are over 150 speedrun challenges taken from 13 classic NES titles.

Gundam Breaker 4 just received a release date. The title launches for Switch on August 29, 2024, Bandai Namco announced today.
Gundam Breaker 4 was first revealed during a Nintendo Direct this year. Bandai Namco said it would be out sometime this year, but didn’t provide more specific timing.

Tutankham is this week’s Arcade Archives game on Switch

Today, Hamster announced that Tutankham will be its latest Arcade Archives game on Switch. It will be available worldwide tomorrow, May 9.
An action game released by Konami in 1982, in Tutankham players will need to aim for the deepest part of the maze-like pyramid, avoiding enemies and traps using lasers and flash bombs.
Arcade Archives Tutankham will be sold digitally via the Switch eShop. Pricing is set at $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29.

A new update has been made available for the Nintendo Switch Online app, bringing it to version 2.10.0.
This update’s main feature is adding landscape support for Android users. Otherwise, users can expect the a small amount of bug fixes and minor changes, as per usual.

The Lara Croft Collection to be sold physically on Switch

The Lara Croft Collection has been on Switch as an eShop download, but a physical release has now been revealed as well. Limited Run Games is in charge of production.
The Lara Croft Collection will be available as part of the game itself as well as a collector’s edition. The latter features premium art cards, an official soundtrack, and an acrylic standee, all in a throwback trapezoid box.

Animal Well confirmed for physical release on Switch

Animal Well is almost here, and just ahead of the launch, Limited Run Games has confirmed plans for a physical release.
The title will be sold standalone, but a collector’s edition is also planned. Those opting for the latter will receive rainbow lithographs, holographic stickers, an acrylic display, a full map of the game, and more.

Nintendo president next system can be described as “Switch next model”

All eyes are on what’s coming next from Nintendo following Switch, especially given today’s news. President Shuntaro Furukawa finally commented on the system’s successor and confirmed that it will be announced within the next fiscal year, which ends in March 2025.
During a financial call, Furukawa was asked if the new console is brand new or something else. He responded by saying that “Switch next model is the appropriate way to describe it”.
