Dataminers have poked through the latest Fire Emblem Heroes update and once again found out about some upcoming content. First of all, as we correctly predicted, the next Grand Hero Battle will feature Ursula from Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade. An upcoming focus banner was also datamined; if the previous one is any indication, this focus will be available during Ursula’s Grand Hero Battle. The 5-star Heroes featured on this focus are Nino, Felicia, Setsuna and Effie.

We’ve got some additional info regarding the release of Snipperclips in Europe. First of all, we got an image of the Joy-Con bundle, which you can see above. Nintendo UK also sent out a PR e-mail about the game, confirming that it’ll be available from the eShop on March 3rd for £17.99. That e-mail also mentions that the Snipperclips Joy-Con bundle won’t be available at launch, but rather one week later, on March 10th. However, that contradicts what is said on the Nintendo UK website, which states that the bundle will be available on March 3rd, as will be the case in the rest of Europe.

Hopefully Nintendo will clear up that confusion soon, but either way, a one week wait for the bundle is not a huge deal.

MCV just published an interview with Nicolas Wegnez, who is the general manager of Nintendo UK. Overall there’s not too much of interest in the interview, but Wegnez does touch on the pre-order and launch day availability situation of the Switch in the UK:

“It’s true pre-orders are very strong but we still expect Nintendo Switch to be available at some retailers on Day One. We do expect shipments to steadily come.”

Here’s what Wegnez had to say about promoting the Switch:

“We have seen that having hands on with Nintendo Switch really does help people to understand its appeal. This is even more true when you can experience how to switch between gameplay modes, use the Joy-Con in different ways or, yes, feel that surprising ‘HD Rumble’ feature.

For all the above, we are working on sampling plans to try and get Nintendo Switch into as many people’s hands as possible. However, living in this digital era we recognise the significance of online tools, therefore we have a comprehensive range of online assets for all our e-commerce partners to embrace.”

Looks like Snipperclips is a launch title not only in Japan, but in Europe as well. GoNintendo got this info from a Dutch PR mail sent out by Nintendo of Europe.

Snipperclips will cost €19.99 and will feature three modes – : WORLD (1-2 players, co-op), PARTY (2-4 players, co-op) and BONUSGAME (2-4 players, competitive). If you want to try out the game first, you’re in luck – there will be a free demo available on March 3rd as well.

Beyond that, Snipperclips will also be sold in a special limited edition bundle that includes a pair of colored Joy-Con as well as a download code for the game.

Did you know that, in the Splatoon canon, the songs on the game’s soundtrack are considered to be produced and performed by in-universe musicians and bands? Obviously everyone knows about the Squid Sisters, but there are more beyond that. It seems like this tradition will continue in Splatoon 2 – Nintendo just revealed the track “Rip Entry” performed by the band “Wet Floor”. Give it a listen:

Pokemon Duel’s next event has started. The Fighting Gym Cup will last until March 2nd – for the duration of this event, all Fighting types with 1 or 2 movement get an additional 1 movement, and all Psychic-type white and gold attacks get an Attack increase of +20. Getting win streaks during this event will net you Gym Boosters which contain new figures like Dragonair and Deoxys’ Normal Forme.

Fire Emblem Heroes’ second Grand Hero Battle has just gone live, but we may already know something about the third one.

Reddit user lighto13 stumbled upon the following: if you tap on “More” on the notification for Robin’s Grand Hero Battle, you get a primer about Grand Hero Battles in general and some more info about Robin specifically, such as her skills as a 5-star unit. At the bottom, there’s this blurb:

When at 5-stars, this Hero can access her greatest powers as a magician and can learn to wield Gronnwolf+, which is es effective against mounted units. It’s also rumored that she could be very helpful for the next Grand Hero Battle. That is, if you can maker her your ally and level her up in time…

Given that Gronnwolf+, an anti-cavalry skill, is specifically mentioned just before the line about the next Grand Hero Battle, it seems pretty likely that the next event will feature a cavalry unit – which one, though? Both characters featured in the Grand Hero Battles so far, Narcian and Female Robin, have one thing in common: they are both currently in the game as enemies in story missions, but can’t be summoned as playable characters through the game’s gacha system. There are actually a couple more characters to which this applies – and some of them are cavaliers as well.

We can likely rule out ???, the masked man seen in the game’s story and one of Fire Emblem Heroes’ original characters. That leaves us with three possible choices – Camus, a Blue lance user, Ursula, a Blue tome user and Xander, a Red sword user. Female Robin, being a Green tome user, would also have the weapon triangle advantage over Camus and Ursula, and her Tomebreaker ability would give her an even bigger edge over Ursula.

So there you have it – Camus and Ursula seem like the most likely suspects for the next Grand Hero Battle, though Xander is also a possibility. Of course, Intelligent Systems could surprise us and use someone that’s not currently in the game, but we feel pretty confident that it will be one of these three characters.
