Cash Cow DX

Cash Cow DX is heading to Switch, publisher Flynn’s Arcade and developer Pixel Games announced today. A release is scheduled for September 26, 2024.

Cash Cow DX is an arcade-inspired title inspired by experiences from the 80s. Players will go on a journey to recover their riches from the greedy Pig Pockets.

Coromon: Rogue Planet

Coromon: Rogue Planet is in the works for Switch, publisher indie.io and developer TRAGsoft revealed today. The project does not yet have a release window.

Coromon: Rogue Planet is a new monster taming game with turn-based combat. Players will choose a starter Coromon, upgrade gear, and battle across the wilderness of Velua.

Temtem update 1.8

Temtem just went live with its latest update, version 1.8. This will be the last major patch for the game.

It’s a big update, with Crema making a shift towards “easier everything” as well as a “kinder economy.” The game now has better Luma and Umbra rates, a permanent Store, an improved Saipark, an option to skip combat animations, the chance to select and complete any Tamer Pass at any given moment, new items, additional Pansuns during the campaign, and more.

PopSlinger Vol. 2 - Loveless

Funky Can Creative today unveiled PopSlinger Vol. 2 – Loveless, a sequel to the previous game. It will launch for Switch on October 9, 2024.

PopSlinger Vol. 2 – Loveless involves going on a mission to rescue Ria, the heroine from the first game. It builds on the previous title, “delivering a fresh and evolved experience with a bold new story, enhanced mechanics, and an all-new coffee-powered twist.”

Atelier Yumia release date

Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land, which was announced during last week’s Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase, just received a release date. Koei Tecmo and Gust revealed during a live stream today that it’s due out on March 21, 2025.

Outside of the release date news, Koei Tecmo passed along first details about Atelier Yumia. Here’s the full rundown:

Nintendo Cube NDcube

Nintendo Cube is the new name name for NDcube, the studio known for its work on the Mario Party series.

A notice about the change was posted on the company’s website yesterday. The announcement doesn’t include much information as it simply states that NDcube will be known as Nintendo Cube moving forward.

Nintendo released a new video today showcasing a few European digital game highlights from August 2024. Some of the highlighted titles include World of Goo 2, Cat Quest III, and Emio – The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club.

Zelda Echoes of Wisdom Hero Mode difficulty

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom appears to include a Hero Mode featuring a higher level of difficulty. That’s based on a new playable version of the game featured at PAX West 2024.

Fans have been going hands-on with the game and spotted the detail. It looks like that Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom will let players choose between Hero and Normal Mode difficulties. As of now it’s unclear if the final version will let players access the option right away or requires an unlock.

Nintendo of Europe structure Luciano Pereña

Today, Nintendo of Europe shared updates to its management structure, highlighted by Luciano Pereña serving as CEO, president, and chairman of the Management Board.

Stephan Bole had previously held the role as president. Bole has decided to leave the company after a 35-year career.
