Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp has still yet to ship despite Nintendo originally intending to have the game ready late last year.

The game was announced at E3 2021, and was on track for a December release. But last October, Nintendo pushed it back to Spring 2022. We then had an April date this past February, but it was then delayed in March indefinitely due to the invasion of Ukraine.

Original (9/7): Nintendo will release a special Switch OLED system for Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, the company has announced. It will be available on November 4, 2022 at select stores. Pricing is set at $359.99.

The console features art inspired by the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet games. The Legendary Pokemon Koraidon and Miraidon are displayed on the glossy front side of the white system’s dock, and a design inspired by the series’ iconic Poke Ball is shown on the back. The back of the system itself is adorned with special illustrations of the three Pokémon you can choose as your first partners in the game – Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly – along with illustrations of symbols players may recognize as they journey through the games. If that wasn’t enough, the Joy-Con controllers, which match the main colors of Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, feature the school emblems of the Naranja Academy and Uva Academy that appear in the respective games.
