Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army will be out for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 on June 19, 2025. Details about frame rate, resolution, and more were shared yesterday, which we have here.

Not every new franchise is a hit out of the gate, and that’s exactly what happened with Capcom’s renowned Ace Attorney series.

Bandai Namco producer Taira Nakamura was reflecting on how difficult it is to make new IPs these days in light of increased development costs. Some franchises tend gain more popularity over time, but companies can be quick to move on to the next thing if it’s not an immediate hit.

Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery and The Star Named EOS will be packaged together physically as part of a new bundle for Nintendo Switch, Playism announced today. This is planned for August 7, 2025 in Japan.

Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery has already seen a box release in the west through iam8bit. However, as far as we’re aware, this will be the first physical release for The Star Named EOS. The new physical bundle should support English for both titles.

InZoi Nintendo Switch 2

The team behind InZoi has expressed interest in a Nintendo Switch 2 port, but whether that’s possible depends on the system’s specs.

The life sim game just hit Early Access last month. Since then, it’s taken off with plenty of interest and positive player feedback. We probably won’t be seeing the full launch anytime soon, but fans are already curious about whether or not we could see it on Nintendo’s upcoming console.

With Nintendo Switch 2 introducing game-key cards, there was the hope that code-in-box releases – which were somewhat common on Switch 1 – would no longer be happening. However, that doesn’t appear to be the case.

Many third-party Nintendo Switch 2 titles at launch will be game-key cards. This means that you’re getting a cartridge, but as there’s no data, you still need to download everything from the internet. It’s still much better than a code-in-box release, which doesn’t let you give the copy to a friend or sell it later on.
