Koei Tecmo and Gust today announced Fairy Tail, a new JRPG based on the best-selling manga of the same name. It will arrive on Switch in 2020.

Dr. Mario World – new doctors and World 7 now live

Dr. Mario World has updated with its latest content. Four new doctors are available, along with a new world.
Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, Baby Peach, and Baby Daisy are the new characters. Boomerang Bro, Chain Chomp, Fly Guy, and Dolphin are also in as assistants.
Finally, World 7 is here, meaning players can access stages 241 through 260. Shy Guy can be obtained as an area clear reward.

Arc System Works today announced Stay Cool, Kobayashi-san!: A River City Ransom Story, a new entry in the Kunio-kun series. A release is planned for Switch and other platforms this fall in Japan.
Stay Cool, Kobayashi-san!: A River City Ransom Story is a collaboration between Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-kun’s Yoshihisa Kishimoto and Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari’s Moqeqe Sekimooto. The spin-off features Masao Kobayashi, Kunio’s long-time rival, and will depict stories previously untold about the character.

Blizzard has shared some new information about Overwatch for Switch.
First, the game will run at 900p when docked and 720p in portable mode. Both modes support 30 frames per second.
It’s also confirmed that Iron Galaxy worked on the game for Switch. The studio has experience working with the console, including The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim’s port.

Overwatch for Switch will have a cartridge release in Japan this winter

As part of the latest Nintendo Direct, Overwatch was announced for Switch. We know that the game will be sold at retail, but you won’t actually be getting a physical cartridge. Instead, it includes a download code.
Things will be a bit different in Japan. That region will also be receiving Overwatch in October, though a physical version is confirmed to follow later on. Fans can look forward to a cartridge release here, but a specific release date hasn’t been provided.

A new update for Tetris 99 is now available. Version 2.0.0, which was detailed in the latest Nintendo Direct, is now available to download.
Today’s update features Invictus Mode, Daily Missions, and new themes and player icons. Those who have purchased the DLC can also now access the latest DLC: 2P Share Battle mode and Local Arena mode.
