At E3 2019, Square Enix revealed Final Fantasy VIII Remastered, and it’s coming to Switch. A couple of retailers then listed the game, which indicated that a physical release is planned. Of course, that doesn’t actually mean much until pre-orders open.

Enter Play-Asia. The retailer has just opened reservations for the RPG, further confirming that a physical version is happening. Pre-orders are available for US and European versions. We’ll have to see if the $59.99 price point sticks, but this is good news for collectors.

Two more summoning events are back in Fire Emblem Heroes. Summoning Focus: Weekly Revival 10, which features 5-star Heroes who appeared before the start of Book II, and the 24-hour Heroes with Distant Def are currently available.

It’s also been announced that the new event Lost Lore is starting soon. Players will send Heroes to scout out other worlds and wait for them to recover lore for the Heroes’ Saga, a collection of tales about Heroes in the Fire Emblem series.

During one of Famitsu’s latest live streams, two more Arcade Archives games were revealed for Switch. Pinball (which may release as VS. Pinball) and Water Ski are both on the way.

Pinball first debuted in Japan in 1984, and was created by Nintendo. Aside from traditional pinball, a separate mode is included in which you play as Mario carrying a platform and attempt to rescue Pauline.

As for Water Ski, this one was made by Taito in 1983. The objective is to control the vehicle and progress by avoiding rocks.
