Bandai Namco shared the latest news about Dragon Ball FighterZ today.

First, all Switch players will be able to purchase Android 17 when the game launches later this week. All other DLC characters will be available as well.

Monolith Soft isn’t just known for the Xenoblade franchise. The studio has worked on many games over the years, including the GameCube-exclusive series Baten Kaitos. Two titles released on the platform, but it sounds like there were plans for a third entry as well.

Director Yasuyuki Honne has revealed that Baten Kaitos III was planned and was in pre-production. However, certain “circumstances” prevented the project from moving forward. Honne stated that Baten Kaitos III “would have been grand-scale game with settings at the bottom of the sea, on land, and in the sky.”

At the Tokyo Game Show this weekend, Bandai Namco announced the first Sword Art Online games for Switch. Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization Deluxe Edition and Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet Complete Edition are both planned for the console.

It didn’t take long for Bandai Namco to confirm that both games will be released on Switch in the west. There is no word yet on a release date for either title, however.

For now, here’s a video promoting the news:

Nefarious

Nefarious was originally intended for release on Switch last Thursday. However, the game ended up experiencing a last-minute delay.

Switch will now be getting Nefarious on October 4. Digerati says that it has been pushed back because of “a gameplay issue experienced by a small number of players who received copies of the game ahead of release.” Although Nefarious went through “a rigorous QA process”, Digerati didn’t “want to take any chances.”

Those who pre-loaded Digerati should have been able to receive the full game last week. Everyone else will need to wait a few more weeks.
