Senran Kagura

This week’s issue of Famitsu revealed that Kenichiro Takaki has left Marvelous after more than a decade with the company. However, he’s staying on as the producer of the Senran Kagura series.

In an interview with the Japanese magazine, Takaki explained his departure and more. Here’s the roundup of what was shared, courtesy of Gematsu:

A new Fortnite update is now available for download, and it’s a fairly substantial one. Version 8.20 includes the limited time mode Floor is Lava, Poison Trap, plenty of improvements and bug fixes, and more.

Original: Kenichiro Takaki, the creator of the Senran Kagura, is no longer with Marvelous. Japanese magazine Famitsu reports that Takaki has left the company after working there for 13 years.

This week’s issue of Famitsu will include a big interview with Takaki. He’ll address his departure, the future of Senran Kagura, and more. There’s also talk about Takaki’s ventures into new territory at Marvelous, including new ‘multi-media projects’.

Obscure Tales has announced that Lamentum, a pixel art survival horror game, is in the works for Switch. It’s currently planned for Q4 of this year.

Nintendo has announced the latest Smash Bros. Ultimate Spirit Board event. This week, the theme is “Kings & Queens of the Sky” where winged creatures will be appearing. Take them down to earn more Spirit Points than usual.

The Spirit Board event should kick off on Friday. Look for it to last a few days as usual.
