Wizard101 coming to Switch

KingsIsle Entertainment just revealed that Wizard101 is coming to consoles, including Switch. A release date will be provided later.
Wizard101 is a free-to-play magic school MMORPG that originally launched on PC in 2008. Players can engage with hundreds of quests with hours of fully voiced-over story content, 20 whimsical worlds, and more. The console versions will exist on one new server so that players can enjoy cross-play with other consoles.

Side-scrolling action adventure game Rusty Rabbit planned for Switch

Publisher NetEase Games and developer Nitro Plus previously announced Rusty Rabbit, but confirmed today that a Switch version is in the works. The game launches in 2025.
Rusty Rabbit is a side-scrolling action adventure game. You’ll take control of Stamp, a rabbit who pilots his trusty mech “Junkster” through the giant ruins of a frozen world.

Sonic team boss says Shadow the Hedgehog is “not Vegeta in any way”

Sonic Team boss Takashi Iizuka took the opportunity to clarify in a recent interview that Shadow the Hedgehog is “not Vegeta in any way.”
Iizuka was speaking with GamesRadar at Gamescom, and was asked if fans have interpreted the character in a different way than how he originally intended. That’s where the talk about Vegeta began.

Puzzle strategy game Line Time to release on Switch

2P Games, along with FaMo9 Studio, today announced that they’re preparing a new Switch version of Line Time. The game will release on September 12, 2024.
Line Time is a puzzle strategy game. Players are tasked with moving a ball to a specific point on a virtual tabletop, timing each movement to reach the destination perfectly.

BZZZT release date set for September

August 26: The Switch version of BZZZT now has a release date. As revealed by an eShop listing, the game launches on September 19, 2024.
BZZZT was first announced during an Indie World Showcase this past April. While we knew it was planned for the summer, there wasn’t anything more specific to go on until now.
Goat Simulator 3 gameplay

Fire Emblem Heroes adding Shez: Dual Sword Master as Legendary Hero

Shez: Dual Sword Master has been revealed as the next Legendary Hero in Fire Emblem Heroes. The character was previously featured in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. You will also be able to summon previously released 5-star Legendary, Mythic, and Emblem Heroes in this event.

Splatoon 3 update announced (version 9.0.0), patch notes

Splatoon 3 is coming up on the end of its primary support, but Nintendo is readying the next major update with version 9.0.0.
According to Nintendo, the primary purpose of the update is about “adding data for a special Big Run that will be held in the near future, improving connectivity, and making adjustments to battles.” There are other aspects as well, including support for the newest amiibo and a massive amount of fixes.
