Bethesda has been supporting Switch much more than any other prior Nintendo platforms. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Doom made it to the system late last year, with Wolfenstein II following sometime in 2018.

In an interview at PAX East, Bethesda Softworks senior VP of marketing Pete Hines was asked quite a bit about Switch. The discussion started with the possibility of bringing other previously-released titles to the platform, to which Hines stated:

Iconoclasts

Iconoclasts is officially coming to Switch, developer Joakim Sandberg has confirmed. MP2 Games is handling the port.

On Switch, Iconoclasts will include expanded difficulty options and a boss rush mode. At any point, you’ll be able to change the difficulty. The game will also feature “a difficulty that lets you get past harder challenges without dying,” Sandberg says.

The latest issue of MCV featured a lengthy interview with NIS America president Takuro Yamashita. Yamashita spoke about SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy, the opportunities on Switch, and sales of Disgaea 5 Complete on the west.

One part of the interview in particular touched on SNK Heroines, and how Nintendo had requested to work with SNK on an exclusive basis. Yamashita also mentioned that physical copies will only be offered on Switch, with Nintendo buying many units and acting as a distributor.

Stardew Valley

ConcernedApe provided the latest status update for Stardew Valley’s multiplayer update today. Currently, the developer is sorting out bugs. If all goes well, it could be wrapped up in about a month.

ConcernedApe tweeted the following a short while ago:

It’s not immediately clear when Stardew Valley’s multiplayer update will be available on Switch, but the point is that we should be seeing it sooner rather than later. We’ll continue to share news about the patch as we have it.
