Nintendo has provided a listing of the most-downloaded 3DS games of 2017 in Japan. The results were split into three categories: retail, digital titles, and Virtual Console.

Nintendo has shared new information about its sales performance ahead of the latest NPD report release later today.
In the US last month, Switch sold more units than any other gaming system. 1.5 million units were sold during the five-week reporting period of December. Nintendo also reiterates that “Switch has sold more than 4.8 million units, making it the fastest-selling home console in U.S. history.”

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 – version 1.2.0, New Quests Pack out this week

Nintendo has confirmed that the latest update and DLC are due out this week for Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Version 1.2.0 will be going live along with the New Quests Pack from the Expansion Pass.

Nippon Ichi hosting new titles broadcast in a few hours from now

Nippon Ichi is gearing up for a new video broadcast taking place several hours from now. At 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET / 2 PM in the UK / 3 PM in Europe, we’ll be hearing about the company’s games that are due out through this summer in Japan.
You can watch the broadcast as it happens below:
Taking inspiration from Nintendo Directs, Nippon Ichi CEO Sohei Niikawa will be leading the proceedings. Niikawa will “directly” deliver news and updates, including a trailer for Your Four Knight Princesses Training Story.

Pokemon GO update rolling out (version 1.59.1 / 0.89.1)

Pokemon GO players will soon be able to download the game’s latest update. Niantic has started rolling out version 1.59.1 on iOS, and version 0.89.1 on Android.
The official patch notes are as follows:
– Resolved a bug that caused the Pokemon collection screen to scroll to the top after evolving, transferring, or renaming a Pokemon.
– Added the ability to sort the Pokedex by region.
– Improved incubator sorting order when selecting an incubator.
– Improved the way Pokemon scale throughout the app.
– Various bug fixes and performance updates.

Switch has sold over 600,000 units in Germany

In announcing Nintendo Labo, Nintendo has provided a sales update for Switch in Germany. Thus far, the system has sold over 600,000 units. That’s better than any other Nintendo home console in the same period, meaning Switch has overtaken Wii.
Zero Gunner 2 released for Switch in Japan, out next week in the west

Update: Bumped to the top. Zero Gunner 2 is releasing on January 25 in North America and Europe.
Original: We just found out a short while ago that Zerodiv is bringing Strikers 1945 II soon to Switch. Meanwhile, the company has also just released Zero Gunner 2 in Japan via the eShop.
Zero Gunner 2 is a shooter originally made for arcades. Hit up the gallery below for a few screenshots.

Reggie leaves the door open to more gameplay possibilities and third-party support with Nintendo Labo

TIME was recently able to speak with Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime about Nintendo Labo. The first topic discussed is the potential to expand on the idea and the use of the Toy-Cons, of which Reggie had this to share:
“Can [the Toy-Cons] be incorporated into other forms of gameplay? Certainly. But right now we think if we effectively communicate the power of the idea with Nintendo Labo [and] really enable players to make their creations, personalize them, and enjoy the [inherent] gameplay experiences . . . We think that’s going to be a great way to start and then progress down the path.”
