NBA 2K18 – full breakdown of storage requirements

The file size situation surrounding NBA 2K18 on Switch has been a bit confusing. The Japanese Switch eShop initially listed the game for 6.8GB, but was later changed to 22.9GB.

8Bitdo making SN30 and SF30 Pro Controllers, compatible with Switch

8Bitdo has two new controllers in the pipeline: the SN30 and SF30. Both are based on the SNES and Super Famicom controllers.
The two controllers work with Switch, macOS, and Android. They feature rumble vibration, motion controls, bluetooth, USB-C connectivity, and d-input and x-input functionality.
The SN30 controller is up on Amazon here. You can also pre-order the SF30 here. They should be out on December 10.

Nintendo has a new round of maintenance scheduled for next week, affecting all platforms. Switch, Wii U, and 3DS will be impacted.
The latest maintenance schedule is as follows:
– 9 PM PT (September 19) – 2 AM PT (September 20)
– 12 AM ET (September 20) – 5 AM ET (September 20)
– 5 AM in the UK (September 20) – 10 AM in the UK (September 20)
– 6 AM in Europe (September 20) – 11 AM in Europe (September 20)
Online play of Switch / Wii U / 3DS games may be impacted while maintenance is taking place.

Amazon Germany has started taking pre-orders for the new Zelda: Breath of the Wild amiibo, and they do ship to the US. You can order the set here.
Daruk, Mipha, Revali, and Urbosa are included in the 4-pack. Nintendo will begin selling the latest amiibo on November 10.
Amazon Germany began taking pre-orders for other new Nintendo products yesterday as well. The European Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Collector’s Edition, Poke Ball New 2DS XL, and more are up here.

Brave Dungeon + Dark Witch’s Story: Combat launching later this month on Switch

Original: Brave Dungeon + Dark Witch’s Story: Combat is coming to Switch later this month, Inside System has announced. Pricing will be set at $8.99 / €8.99.
Brave Dungeon is the original 3DS game, now in HD. It also adds the new characters Nevil and Clinsy.
Dark Witch’s Story: Combat is a 3 vs. 3 strategy battle game. In it, you select three out of four available characters, and equip each with magic items.
Brave Dungeon + Dark Witch’s Story: Combat launches on September 28.

Shovel Knight version 3.2 out now for 3DS digital, physical next week

If you’ve purchased the digital version of Shovel Knight, a new update can be downloaded. Yacht Club Games has issued version 3.2 for the handheld. It includes Japanese language options, many fixes, and localization / text improvements.
