Mastiff preparing Kickstarter campaign that could give Gurumin 3D the physical treatment
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS eShop, News | 4 Comments
Gurumin 3D is only available on the eShop at the moment. If a new Kickstarter campaign goes well, however, the game could see a physical release.
Mastiff is preparing a Kickstarter campaign for physical versions of Kickstarter. The company is planning all sorts of tiers and rewards, ranging from $1 (access to updates) all the way up to $500 with a digital 3DS key, physical PC copy, t-shirt, button and sticker set, and more.
As for a physical 3DS edition, it will be included as a stretch goal. There’s no word yet on the initial funding target or the 3DS goal. More details should be shared in the near future.

Nearly two dozen Pokemon GO Fest attendees filing suit against Niantic over travel expenses

Just when you thought that the Pokemon GO Fest disaster may finally be over, a new wrinkle gets thrown into the mix.
We’re hearing that close to two dozen attendees are filing suit against developer Niantic. In doing so, they are looking for travel reimbursement.
Attorney Thomas Zimmerman, who is representing Pokemon GO Fest attendee Jonathan Norton, said: “He paid to fly out [to Chicago] for the festival, and had to wait for several hours in line, just like most everybody else in order to get in.” Zimmerman added that after Norton made it in, he couldn’t catch rare Pokemon, despite what Niantic advertised. Although Niantic provided compensation in the form of full refunds, $100 of in-game credit, and Legendary Pokemon, Zimmerman notes that this isn’t enough since their travel expenses were much greater.
Zimmerman further stated:

This is the Police listed for Switch on Koch Media’s website
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch | 0 comments
Listings for This is the Police have been appearing on European retailer websites as of late. Further adding to the speculation is a new page on Koch Media’s website.
Koch handles the distribution of THQ Nordic games in a few European countries. Given that, you would think they would know about upcoming releases. That’s why it’s interesting how Koch also says that This is the Police is bound for Switch. It’s listed for a release on December 29, though that’s certainly a random, tentative date.
If we hear anything else about This is the Police coming to Switch, we’ll let you know.

Persona Q 2 rumored, domain name now exists on Atlus’ nameservers
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, News | 72 Comments
A sequel to Persona Q could very well be on the way. Discovered today, the domain name pq2.jp is now on the nameservers Atlus uses for their websites. When you visit the URL, it redirects to the Persona Channel website.
A concert for the Persona franchise will be taking place on August 2. It’s thought that Atlus could announce new projects at around that time, which could include Persona Q.
Assuming Persona Q 2 is real, we’re unsure of platforms at this time. The original did come to 3DS though, so it would make sense to have the sequel there as well. A Switch version would also certainly be nice.

Infinite Minigolf was originally supposed to launch on the Switch eShop earlier this week. If you checked the store though, you may have noticed that it’s nowhere to be found.
Infinite Minigolf has been delayed, but thankfully, only be a few days. Zen Studios confirmed on Twitter that tomorrow is the new release date.
Infinite Minigolf will release July 28 for #NintendoSwitch
Thank you for your patience and apologize for the delay!
2000+ courses await!— Zen Studios (@zen_studios) July 27, 2017
It’s unclear why Infinite Minigolf didn’t arrive on Switch earlier this week. We’ll just have to be happy with the fact that the delay is short.
