In an interview with Famitsu, Final Fantasy 14 director / producer Naoki Yoshida shared lots of praise for The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.
Yoshida was asked about the game he’s been most impressed by out of the ones he’s played recently. His top pick? That would be The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.
Mamorukun ReCurse reveals release date, Nintendo Switch physical release

Mamorukun ReCurse, which was announced for Nintendo Switch a couple of months ago, today revealed its release date and a physical release.
The game launches digitally on September 25, 2025. Limited Run Games is handling the physical release, of which there will be both a standard version and “Underworld Edition”. The latter features a special box, soundtrack, booklet, and art book as bonuses.

Scholar’s Mate will be appearing on Nintendo Switch this week, JanduSoft has announced. It will be available on July 10, 2025.
Scholar’s Mate is a first-person horror escape room experience. Players will enter the corridors of an abandoned psychiatric hospital in which they’ll need to help Judith solve twisted puzzles and stay hidden from her relentless captor, Eddie.

Capcom says Mega Man is one of its most important IPs, “continuously considering ways to develop it further”

Mega Man has been missing in action for many years now, but Capcom apparently hasn’t forgotten about the franchise.
The company was recently asked about plans for the series during an investor Q&A. In response, the following was shared: “The Mega Man series is one of our most important IPs, and we are continuously considering ways to develop it further. However, we do not have any additional information we can share at this time.”
The House of the Dead 2: Remake announced for Nintendo Switch [update: new trailer]

January 10: The House of the Dead 2: Remake is officially coming to Nintendo Switch, Forever Entertainment has announced. A release is planned for Spring 2025.
The House of the Dead 2 originally released in 1998. For the remake, other than upgraded graphics, fans can look forward to a remastered music (though the original soundtrack will also be available) and more.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet announce Tera Raid Battle event with Kommo-o

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet players can look forward to the next Tera Raid Battle event, which is set to feature Kommo-o.
Kommo-o will be available to battle in 7 Star Raids with the Fighting Tera Type. As we typically see, it will carry the Mightiest Mark and can be caught once per save file.

Nintendo fans think Smash Bros. and more may have leaked for Switch Online

After a bit of digging, some fans are convinced that Nintendo is hiding potential N64 games for Switch Online, including Super Smash Bros.
The video actually isn’t new having been released at the very end of May. But for one reason or another, fans started to take a closer look at segments of footage that were blurred out. Comparisons have been made to boxarts and how they line up. Aside from Smash Bros., the trailer is supposedly hiding Donkey Kong 64, Glover, and Forsaken as well.
