Nintendo Direct February 2023 live stream blog

Nintendo is set to host its first Nintendo Direct of the year with a February 2023 presentation. The company previously confirmed that the event will be about 40 minutes long and will “mostly” be about Switch games launching in the first half of the year.

As is tradition, we’ll have a live blog that’ll be updated throughout the event. On top of that, we’ve rounded up the different versions of the broadcast for major regions – North America, Europe, and Japan. We’ll have tons of coverage after the event on the main site as well.

You can watch the February 2023 Nintendo Direct live stream below. It’ll kick off at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET / 10 PM in the UK / 11 PM in Europe.

Camper Van Make it Home

Malapata Studio has announced Camper Van: Make it Home, “a game about camperizing vans.” The Switch title, which is inspired by Unpacking, is on track for 2024.

Camper Van: Make it Home will have players going on a journey of personal discovery while decorating a van and making a space for their belongings. Read more about it below.

Horror Tales The Wine physical

Limited Run Games has confirmed plans to offer a physical version of Horror Tales: The Wine on Switch. This will be offered through its distribution line.

Horror Tales: The Wine originally appeared on Switch in July 2021, but only as a digital title. This marks the first time it will have a physical edition.

Bear and Breakfast update 1.7.0

A new version 1.7.0 update has gone live for Bear and Breakfast on Switch.

The update contains some additions, adjustments, and fixes. Some of the highlights include a couple of new quests, a new Special Shop, new decorative objects, and new clothing.

Nintendo Direct threat California State University Fullerton

The California State University Fullerton is being extra cautious today after a student sent an email to their professor asking for class to be cancelled “for the good of humanity” due to the Nintendo Direct presentation airing later today.

While the individual later followed up and admitted it was a “bad joke”, it was still enough to put people on edge. The CSUF Police Department did believe the email to contain “a perceived vague threat”. Because of this, there’ll be more safety measures in place today at the campus “out of an abundance of caution”.

SD Shin Kamen Rider Ranbu

Original (1/11): SD Shin Kamen Rider Ranbu is coming to Switch, the Shin Kamen Rider Production Committee has announced. A release is planned for March 23, 2023 in Japan.

SD Shin Kamen Rider Ranbu is a side-scrolling beat ’em up game, and the action is said to be extremely diverse. Players will face off against the evil organization Shocker. Riders can be strengthened with the food, coins, and badge equipment earned through battle. Additionally, they can power up by removing their coat.

NIS America has issued a new English gameplay trailer for GrimGrimoire OnceMore. Fans can get a new look at the real-time strategy title made by Vanillaware.

Idea

Today, TLR Games announced that it will be bringing Idea to Switch. The exploration platformer is slated for March 8, 2023.

Arcade Archives Magical Speed

Hamster has announced that it will make Magical Speed available as its latest Arcade Archives game on Switch. It’s due out on February 9, 2023.

Magical Speed is notable as this will be the first Arcade Archives game that was originally made by Allumer. In fact, Hamster now has the rights to all titles made by Allumer, which became defunct in 1999. Hamster says it will offer other titles from the company through its Arcade Archives lineup in the future.

Nacon Connect March 2023

A new Nacon Connect presentation will air on March 9, 2023, it’s been announced. The presentation is planned for 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM in the GMT / 7 PM CET.

Nacon says it will “share lots of information about forthcoming games in this edition” including “gameplay from several titles.” Confirmed titles include TT3: Ride on the Edge, RoboCop: Rogue City, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, Gangs of Sherwood, and Ravenswatch. Nacon has also teased games from its sports and simulation catalogue.
