November 25: Ratalaika Games is bringing Furious Bikers to Nintendo Switch this week, the company has announced. Those that are interested can pick it up on November 29, 2024.

Furious Bikers is a racing game at its core. Players will be able to experience 30 different tracks while competing to be the fastest in every contest.

Metroid Prime 1-3: A Visual Retrospective

November 25: Metroid Prime 1-3: A Visual Retrospective, a new collaboration between Piggyback and Nintendo, has been revealed.

The art book will cover the first three games in the series. Fans can expect a celebration of the franchise’s art “with exclusive insights from the game developers.” The hardcover book spans over 200 pages. Interestingly, this is Piggyback’s first art book.

Nintendo published a new Donkey Kong Country series trailer today highlighting how all of the games are out on Switch. As part of that, we have another look at the upcoming Donkey Kong Country Returns HD. Also, footage is shown for the SNES trilogy and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze.

Star Trek Legends

Star Trek: Legends will soon be releasing on Nintendo Switch, an eShop listing reveals. The game arrives on December 25, 2024.

Star Trek: Legends previously released on PC and mobile. The team-based strategy RPG lets players step into the role of various heroes and villains from the series as they go on an epic space adventure to control the mysterious Nexus.

Genius Sonority announced today that it will soon distribute a version 3.0.0 update for The New Denpa Men. This will be available by December 2, 2024.

The New Denpa Men has received new updates previously, but version 3.0.0 is pretty significant. The game is getting the “Phantom Emperor’s Cave” event in December, new items, and more.

Employment agency Gakujo recently held a survey that shows Nintendo ranks third in terms of Japanese graduates that are on the job hunt. 5,476 university students from across the country participated showing which companies they’re most interested in.

Trade giant Itochu and food and biotech corporation Ajinomoto ranked first and second respectively. However, Nintendo was very clearly #1 for gaming companies. Konami, Bandai Namco, SEGA, and Capcom also appeared in the top fifty.


Dave the Diver sales

January 3: Today, Mintrocket announced that Dave the Diver has sold over three million copies. That milestone accounts for both the Switch and PC versions combined worldwide.

Dave the Diver originally released in October 2022. The Switch version just followed the following October, so it’s only been available for a few months.

Ravenswatch trailer

The Nintendo Switch version of Ravenswatch secured a release date today. It’ll head to Nintendo’s console on January 23, 2025.

Ravenswatch was originally unveiled for Nintendo Switch at the start of 2023. The game first came to PC in September, so it’s taking a bit longer to launch on the console.
