Nintendo has gone ahead and opened a dedicated page for amiibo on its website. Access it here. There’s a video on the page – posted above – which features a bit of Smash Bros. Wii U footage and how amiibo figures work with the game.

Square Enix has released the final round of DLC for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call in North America and Europe.
Players can purchase the following tracks:
Final Fantasy XI – “Melodies Errant” (battle music)
Final Fantasy XIII – “Nascent Requiem” (battle music)
Final Fantasy XI – “Iron Colossus” (battle music)

Halloween 3DS themes out now

The new Halloween themes for 3DS have now arrived in North America. These include “NES: Halloween Link”, “Animal Crossing: New Leaf: Jack, the Czar of Halloween”, and “Halloween: Spooky Black Cat”.
Pricing for the two former themes are priced at $1.99. The latter costs $0.99.

Tsutaya stores in Japan will be handing out a special Pokemon-themed prepaid eShop card. After buying a download card for Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire, consumers will be provided with the 500 yen item. This promotion is valid between October 29 and November 30.
