Piracy has long been an ongoing battle for Nintendo. There’s been a bit of a breakthrough for the company, as two members of Team Xecuter have been arrested. Team Xecuter has impacted various Nintendo platforms including Switch, 3DS, and the Nintendo Entertainment System: Classic Edition.

Here’s the full report from the U.S. Department of Justice:

To kick off October, My Nintendo has updated with a bunch of new rewards. Fans may be most interested in new physical items for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, but there are other additions as well.

It seems that the production run for the Nintendo 3DS has come to an end. Nintendo has updated its Japanese website to include that all units of the Nintendo 3DS (including the 2DS family of systems) have stopped production.

This has been released via a message on their Japanese site that roughly translates to “the production of the main body has been discontinued.” Upon checking the listing for all the models of the 3DS and 2DS (XL, *New*, etc.) a message pops up on all of them that translates to “all have been discontinued.”

So, it seems that the production for the 3DS has truly ended. Nintendo should make an official announcement about this soon, so this story will be updated then.

The website that this information has been found at has been linked below, as well as the screenshots of the translated messages stating the end of production.

YouTuber Mirror Panel-3 has put an incredible amount of work into making Flipnote Warrior, an anime created with the Flipnote Studio 3D application. It tells the story of a young girl’s life that forever changes following an unexpected encounter on a 3DS.

All animation was done within Flipnote Studio 3D. It was then colorized and edited on PC.

Flipnote Warrior won’t be released until December 4, but we do have a trailer. The teaser video can be found below.

Rodea the Sky Soldier

Through a partnership with Kadokawa Games, NIS America was able to bring Rodea the Sky Soldier to the west. Now, however, your opportunity to buy the game digitally is about to be over. NIS America has announced that Rodea the Sky Soldier will be removed from the North American and European Wii U / 3DS eShops on September 30.

Rodea the Sky Soldier will still live on through its physical release. Prices for the Wii U and 3DS versions are relatively cheap right now.
