Oxenfree II: Lost Signals has been delayed to 2023, according to developer Night School Studio. The company provided a status update about the project on social media today.
Night School Studio said it will be using the extra time to make the game “truly special and add more localizations”. You can read the full statement below.
Shoot ’em up game Angelian Trigger announced for Switch

Pixel today announced Angelian Trigger, a new shoot ‘ep for Switch that’s a mashup of 2D and 3D gameplay. A release is planned for 2023.
Specifics about gameplay have yet to be detailed. However, we know that the lineup of staff includes Hidekuni Sasaki as director, Akihiro Kimura (ZAVAS, Emerald Dragon, Alshark, Alnam no Kiba: Juuzoku Juunishinto Densetsu) as character designer, and Toshikazu Arai on effect design. Akari Kaida (Darkstalkers, Resident Evil, Breath of Fire III, Okami) is handling the music, Yukihito Tanaka is in charge of the 2D animation, and nspace is working on backgrounds. Finally, the game features enemy design from Yu Hiraoka, Soushokunin Dora, and uhper2319.

Devolver Digital and Massive Monster have issued the latest update for Cult of the Lamb, with version 1.0.1.41 having gone live.
The new patch is largely intended to address a huge list of issues. Fixes have been implemented relating to crusades, cults, and more.

Hokko Life confirmed for physical release on Switch

Hokko Life, which was previously announced for Switch, is now confirmed to be receiving a physical release on the platform.
Fireshine Games appears to be handling distribution of the boxed version at retail. Amazon has it down for September 27 – the same day as the digital launch.

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope won’t feature any sort of multiplayer modes. That’s according to Quentin Correggi, the associate producer on the game.
We recently had the opportunity to speak with Correggi, and one of the topics we discussed is whether the game will feature PvP like the original title. That led to the confirmation that Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is scrapping multiplayer entirely, with the game planned “exclusively a solo experience.”
