Pokemon Brilliant Diamond / Shining Pearl update out now (version 1.3.0), patch notes

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl have both given a new update, and the two Switch RPGs are now at version 1.3.0.
We reported earlier today that players would have an opportunity to obtain Arceus as part of a tie-in with Pokemon Legends: Arceus after installing the patch. Nintendo confirms that this is now live, but in addition, a new network-trading feature has been added.

Discolored Episode 2 planned for Switch

Discolored Episode 2 is in the works for Switch, creator Jason Godbey announced today. It will initially arrive in 2023 and it’s planned for Switch.
Discolored Episode 2 is another first-person puzzle adventure title. Godbey says it’ll bring back “surreal and mind-bending puzzles”, but this time around “it will also cover new territory with intense gameplay moments and the introduction of a couple of characters that help expand upon the story.”

Mario Strikers fans might be surprised to hear that the game came close to being more of a platformer.
That news comes from Mike Inglehart, who was a director on the GameCube title as well as its Wii sequel Mario Strikers Charged. Next Level Games toyed around with that mixture of soccer and platforming after receiving limited direction from Nintendo. However, after the Big N reviewed the team’s work and was told to start over, Mario Strikers became more of a soccer experience that emphasized the sport itself.

Disney Speedstorm reveals Elizabeth Swann

Elizabeth Swann is joining Disney Speedstorm as one of the game’s playable characters, it’s been announced. Gameloft posted the news on the official Twitter account today.
Disney Speedstorm was announced for Switch during a Nintendo Direct last month. It’s a free-to-play arcade racer featuring characters and tracks from both Disney and Pixar worlds.

RiffTrax: The Game coming to Switch

What the Dub?! creator Wide Right Interactive and RiffTrax, the team behind Mystery Science Theater 3000, have announced that they’re teaming up on RiffTrax: The Game. It’s slated for a May 5, 2022 release on Switch.
RiffTrax: The Game is described as “the definitive movie heckling party title”. It includes over 250 movies clips, new game modes, Twitch integration, and more ways to connect players.
Retro futuristic visual novel Vengeful Heart announced for Switch

Top Hat Studios, in collaboration with developer Salmon Snake, announced today that it will soon be putting Vengeful Heart on Switch. It will release in late March.
Vengeful Heart is a retro futuristic visual novel that you playing as Josephine Lace, who goes on a mission to take down “the system that ruined her and starts looking for more broken hearts to achieve her promised revenge”. More information can be found below.
