Hellpoint

After it was previously delayed, Hellpoint launches on Switch this week. View some footage of the action RPG in the video below.

Hellpoint releases for Switch via the eShop on February 25. A physical version should also be available at the end of the week.

Spooky Chase

Update (2/24): QuByte Interactive has confirmed that Spooky Chase will be releasing in North America and Europe on February 25.


Original (2/23): QUByte Interactive and Burning Goat Studio have announced that they’re putting Spooky Chase. The 2D platformer is “coming soon”, though a specific date hasn’t been confirmed.

RetroMania Wrestling

RetroMania Wrestling was originally planned as a February release on all supported platforms. While everything is going as planned with the Steam version, Switch owners will probably need to wait a bit longer.

Retrosoft Studios provided an update on release plans yesterday, stating that the team hasn’t finished the certification process. That means consoles – including Switch – probably won’t be arriving this week as originally expected. Retrosoft does not anticipate the delay being any longer than two weeks.

My Hero One's Justice 2 - Tetsutetsu

Thunderflash

The run and run title Thunderflash will be appearing on Switch this week, Ratalakia Games and Seep announced today. It will be available on February 26.

Can't Drive This

Pixel Maniacs has announced that Can’t Drive This, its multiplayer party racing game, is on the way to Switch. The game is launching digitally on March 19.

Akiba's Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed

New gameplay from Akiba’s Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed has emerged courtesy of Washagana TV and 4Gamer. Both videos can be found below.

Akiba’s Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed is slated for Switch on May 20 in Japan. The western release is planned for this summer.

It’s been announced that SteamWorld Dig 2 will be featured as the next Nintendo Switch Online Game Trial in Japan. If you’re subscribed to the service, the game can be played entirely free for a week, with all progress transferring to the full version.

Note that SteamWorld Dig 2 can be played for free regardless of region so long as you’re a Nintendo Switch Online member. You’ll just need to download the game from the Japanese eShop.

SteamWorld Dig 2 will be featured as a Game Trial between March 1 and March 7. All SteamWorld games will also be on sale for 30 percent off on the Japanese Switch eShop between March 1 and March 14.
