Nintendo issuing takedown notices for Garry’s Mod, needs to delete 20 years’ worth of items

April 24: Nintendo is always protective of its IPs, and that stance is now impacting Garry’s Mod which is being forced to take down content for the game.
Garry’s Mod, a sandbox title, has been around for nearly two decades. It was no stranger to tons of different mods, including ones tied to Nintendo. However, the company is now issuing takedown notices that will affect creations that extend all the way back to the release in 2006.

The tower defense / dungeon crawler / RPG Dwerve previously appeared digitally on Switch, but now a physical release is happening. PM Studios announced plans for production of the boxed version today.

Stories from Sol: The Gun-Dog was previously announced, but publisher Astrolabe and developer Space Colony Studios confirmed today that a Switch version is in the works. Fans will be able to pick it up sometime this winter.

Quantic Dream has picked up Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior for publishing on Switch, the company announced today. The game launches on May 14, 2024.
Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior is a hack-and-slash action game made by Sand Door Studio. It first came out on PC earlier this year.
Pine: A Story of Loss heading to Switch

Today, publisher Fellow Traveller and developer Made Up Games announced that they’re planning Pine: A Story of Loss for Switch. The title is slated for late 2024.
Pine: A Story of Loss follows the tale of a woodworker grieving the recent passing of his wife and promises “a poignant and reflective story told through wordless interaction and hand-drawn animation.” More information can be found in the following overview:

New details have come to light about improvements planned for the Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door Switch remake, including additions like the Nostalgic Tunes badge that lets players experience the music from the GameCube original.
Nintendo previously teased new features for the upcoming release, but didn’t go into detail. Thanks to hands-on previews that went live today, we have a better idea as to what’s planned.
