Downward Enhanced

Today, publisher Plug In Digital and developer Caracal Games announced Downward Enhanced for Switch. It’s slated for June 4, 2024.

Downward is a first-person open-world parkour based platform adventure set in the medieval ruins of a post-apocalyptic planet Earth. For this new version of the game, the team is planning new graphics and assets, optimization, and alternative endings.

Paper Mario The Thousand-Year Door reviews

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door still has a couple of days to go until its Switch launch, but reviews are now starting to come in. Nintendo lifted the embargo a few minutes ago.

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door brings back the classic GameCube RPG. Aside from fresh visuals, the title features an updated soundtrack plus gameplay additions like updated quick-travel pipes and a Partner Ring to quickly swap characters.

Suika Game online multiplayer

Online multiplayer support for Suika Game now has a release date. According to an eShop listing, it’ll be ready to go on May 23, 2024.

Suika Game previously released its Main Game & Multi-Player Mode DLC following a Nintendo Direct earlier in the year. Players could access new local multiplayer modes in that pack, but online multiplayer support was promised for a later date. Now that feature is just a couple of days away.

The latest UK software sales chart for the week ending May 18, 2024 is now available.

Card-en-Ciel release date

Inti Creates has come through with a release date for Card-en-Ciel, its new card-battling RPG. It’ll head to Switch on October 24, 2024.

The Gunvolt developer first announced its latest game back in March. The reveal did not include any information regarding release timing. Now we know that it will be a later 2024 release.

Risk of Rain 2 Devotion update Dead Cells

April 10: A new Risk of Rain 2 update is on the way that will see a collaboration with Dead Cells, it’s been announced.

The Prisoner joins the rank of the Survivors as a free Alt Skin for the Mercenary. On top of that, players will be able to a vibrant new map plus two Artifacts as part of the free Devotion Update.

Nintendo Shiver Entertainment acquisition

Nintendo has acquired Shiver Entertainment, the company just announced.

While Shiver worked on Scribblenauts Showdown, it’s largely known for its porting work. The studio previously helped to bring Scribblenauts Mega Pack, Mortal Kombat 1, Mortal Kombat 11, and Hogwarts Legacy to Switch.

Nintendo is making the acquisition from Embracer. Embracer previously picked up Shiver at the end of 2021.

TP Bullet

TP Bullet is making its way to Switch this week, publisher Ratalaika Games and developer 9Ratones announced today. It will be available on May 24, 2024.

TP Bullet is a pistol-shooting portal puzzle platformer in which players use their enchanted bullet to clear each level and save the city. More information can be found in the following overview:

Minecraft museum map 15 anniversary

Minecraft is celebrating its 15th anniversary with a new museum map.  Best of all, it’s entirely free.

The map was made in partnership with Oreville Studios. By exploring the museum, players can check out key moments in Minecraft history. Players can partake in mini games, collect lost memories, and explore historical exhibits to unlock the rich history of Minecraft. Multiplayer is fully supported as well.
