Calico reveals “Neat Things” DLC

Brand new DLC has just been announced for Calico, which is known as “Neat Things”. It’ll be dropping on Switch this winter.
Players can look forward to a bunch of new content. New quests, a new character, new mini-games, and new friends are on the way.

Tetris Forever trailer introduces Tetris Time Warp

Digital Eclipse shared a new Tetris Forever trailer today focusing on Tetris Time Warp.
Tetris Forever largely features a collection of older games. However, Tetris Time Warp is brand new. The game, which has support for single-player and multiplayer, offers “a manic mix of Tetris games from across the eras, each with their own graphic look and rules.”

30 Birds release date set for November

The recently-announced 30 Birds has a release date. ARTE, RTBF, Ram Ram Games, and Business Goose says that the game will be out for Switch on November 28, 2024.
30 Birds was just confirmed for Switch a month ago. At the time, we were given a 2024 release window.

Smash Bros. director Masahiro Sakurai working on new game

Masahiro Sakurai wrapped up his YouTube channel, and one of the major tidbits shared during the video is that the Smash Bros. director has been busy working on a new game.
Sakurai said that he was asked to write a proposal for a new game while working on the last round of DLC for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, which he finished “at lightning speed.” Unfortunately though, he didn’t give any sort of details about what the project is. He only left fans with the following: “I’m sorry I can’t share more about this project, but assuming that we’re able to get it made, it should be announced sooner or later.”
Visual novel Cute Bite out on Switch this week

Cute Bite will be appearing on Switch this week, publisher Ratalaika Games and developer Hanako Games have announced. It’ll be ready to go on October 25, 2024.
Cute Bite is a visual novel and a vampire-raising simulator. Players will need to train the Little Mistress in skills so she can bite her way through obstacles.

Neva Switch physical release revealed, pre-orders open

Neva only just landed on the eShop a few days ago, but Devolver Digital already confirmed plans for a Switch physical release.
Fans will be able to choose between a standard copy and a Deluxe version. The latter includes a copy of the game on a cartridge, collector’s box, original soundtrack, and art book.

The latest UK software sales chart has been released for the week ending October 19, 2024, revealing a strong debut for Super Mario Party Jamboree.
The game managed to take the top spot in its first week – and remember, that’s without digital data. Nintendo will also be happy to hear that physical sales were 35 percent more compared to Mario Party Superstars.

Mario & Luigi: Brothership developed by Acquire

The developer behind Mario & Luigi: Brothership has been revealed, which is Acquire.
Fans have long thought that ILCA could be the studio responsible for the Switch game. However, it turns out that the responsibility was left with Acquire. This is the first time that a Mario & Luigi game was not made by AlphaDream – that studio filed for bankruptcy a number of years ago.

Pokemon Rodeo details leaked

Details have leaked regarding an unreleased Pokemon game, which goes by the codename Rodeo. The project may or may not still be in development.
Pokemon Rodeo is an online co-op Pokemon battling game. The title revolves around riding and defeating rampaging creatures. One leaked image shows the ability to customize your Pokemon with paint marks.
