Nintendo shares Seaskape music from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (Splatoon)

Nintendo is back with a new piece of music for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Today’s track is Seaskape, which originates from Splatoon.
Hirokazu Tanaka is behind the new arrangement. Tanaka is currently the president of Creatures, but worked as a composer on a ton of Nintendo titles back in the day in particular.

As Nintendo heads into the busy sales season that are the holidays, Kotaku caught up with Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime. Reggie spoke about why people should be interested in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the goal of of selling 20 million Switch systems this year, and reflected on Switch in 2018.
One interesting commented popped up when Reggie mentioned that he would liked to have seen Smash Bros. launch earlier in the year. Why? Because an early December launch is “challenging” business-wise and retailer-wise.

Chicken Wiggle Workshop now scheduled for early 2019

Chicken Wiggle Workshop never had a firm release date, but Atooi was aiming for December. However, the project is now moving officially to early 2019 as the developer attempts to “ensure the game is the best it can be for Nintendo Switch, and that goal is becoming a truly exciting reality as we move forward with each step in development.”

Yooka-Laylee dev explains its approach to the 64-bit Tonic

Playtonic posted a Q&A on its website that attempts to answer some of the questions fans have about the upcoming 64-Bit Tonic in Yooka-Laylee. Technical director Jens Restermeier spoke about what was used as a reference material/inspiration, why there won’t be an option to turn the CRT filter on and off, and more.
