Nintendo has been on a hot streak as of late when it comes to preparing for amiibo restocks. We’ve seen a bunch of different child’s safety certificates that have been updated, pointing to re-releases.

Next up on the list are Lucina, Robin, Ike, Mewtwo, and Greninja. All of these figures had a new run of manufacturing in October.

As usual, there is no specific date for amiibo restocks. Just keep an eye out on your local retailer or online shop to see if they resurface soon.

Nippon Ichi has made it known a few times in the past just how well Disgaea 5 Complete did on Switch. Earlier this year, it was revealed that the game was sitting at 200,000 copies sold in the west alone.

In last month’s issue of EDGE, Nippon Ichi president Sohei Niikawa reiterated Disgaea 5 Complete’s success on Switch, stating that “it sold incredibly well both in Japan and abroad.” Niikawa also spoke about Nintendo’s strong support of the company having visited their offices to teach the developers about Switch. Right now he believes it’s an “ideal piece of hardware” since the dual console and portable nature makes it appealing to both the west and Japan.

Shinya Kumazaki, director of Kirby Star Allies, has provided more insight into the game’s creation. In a post sent out to Switch owners, Kumazaki details the process of creating the design for Hyness – one of the major bosses players encounter.

At PAX Aus 2018, a special panel was held in which four different indies discussed bringing their games to Switch and more. Ash Ringrose from SMG Studio, Henrik Pettersson from The Voxel Agents, League of Geeks’ Matthew Rowland, and Harmonious Games’ Joe Park were in attendance.

For almost two years now, we’ve heard from a number of indies about how well their games sold on Switch. This is something that was brought up during the panel as well, with most of the developers sharing information and data about their eShop performance.

Roarr! Jurassic Edition

On Wednesday, Roarr! Jurassic Edition made it to the Switch eShop. Take a look at some footage in the video below.

It was unexpectedly announced yesterday that the physical version of Hollow Knight has been cancelled. We had only heard from Skybound at the time, but Team Cherry has issued its own response now as well.

Team Cherry said that pursuing the retail version “proved more work than we could reasonably manage.” While the company may explore a different way for this to happen in the future, it will probably “be in smaller quantities.”

Yesterday, Frozenbyte brought Trine Enchanted Edition to Switch – with the second and third games to follow soon. Get a look at some footage below.
