Switch OLED Super Smash Bros. Ultimate bundle

Advertising has been spotted for a new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Switch OLED bundle. At the very least, Walmart should be carrying the product.

The holiday season is approaching and Nintendo is no stranger to bundles. It’s likely that this could be one of the deals it’s planning for the weeks ahead.

The Smurfs 2: The Prisoner of the Green Stone has now come to Switch, and gameplay is available. 45 minutes of footage shows off the exploration platformer.

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk update

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk received a new update this week, and the full patch notes are available.

The main attraction here is an improved pause menu map that now shows Taxi Signs, Cypher Spots and Public Toilets. While toilets will be immediately visible, players will need to find the Taxi and Cypher spots first. Also included is a counter for how much stuff is still needed to collect in the current stage – outfits, skateboards, music or graffiti.

Super Mario Bros Ground theme main

In an interview with NHK, longtime Super Mario Bros. composer Koji Kondo discussed the original game’s music and the making of the Ground Theme.

Kondo spoke with the outlet about how his first go at the track was scrapped. That’s because when it came to the actual gameplay and not just more of a still image that he initially saw, “the rhythm of that song didn’t really match.” Kondo also mentioned his overall goal for the game, which was to “create enjoyable music never seen before using only three notes.”

Alien Hominid Invasion launch trailer

The Behemoth has come through with a launch trailer for Alien Hominid Invasion. After it was announced in 2020, it saw its debut this week.
