Astral Ascent players can now pick up the latest update with version 1.1.0.
The update includes a new damage meter system, new rooms to find in each world, Japanese voice-over, and more. That’s just the tip of the iceberg though as there’s also a bunch of balance adjustments, fixes, and more.

Outward: Definitive Edition coming to Switch

A Switch version of Outward: Definitive Edition is on the way, publisher Prime Matter revealed today. The game is launching in 2024.
Outward, an open-world fantasy RPG developed by Nine Dots Studio, will include the DLC “Three Brothers” and “The Soroboreans.” Sneaky Box was brought in to handle the porting process.

Suika Game Christmas theme released, sales top five million

As a special treat for Christmas, Suika Game has been updated with a new holiday theme.

Epic Mickey director says “gamers didn’t get it”, but “proud” of the title

Warren Spector acted as director on Epic Mickey – as well as its sequel. As a huge Disney fan, it was a big passion project for him.
Spector reflected on Epic Mickey and its initial reception while speaking with Venturebeat. As someone who worked on immersive sims before like Deus Ex, this was a big change in terms of what fans came to know him for. Specter said “gamers didn’t get it”, but he’s still “proud of Epic Mickey”.
