Top Racer Collection update adds Mirror Mode and more

A new update for Top Racer Collection was just made available, which includes a Mirror Mode. The patch should show as version 1.0.4 once installed.
Mirror Mode offers a new way of playing the campaigns. On top of that, the game has received filter adjustments, loading improvements, and more.

We’ve got a new look at Snow Bros. Wonderland showing the game’s multiplayer functionality (and a physical release update).
Up to four people can play together in co-op and experience the whole adventure. This is a charge from the original title which only supporter two players.
New SpongeBob SquarePants game coming in 2025

THQ Nordic has teased a new SpongeBob SquarePants game set to release in 2025.
Actual details have not been shared at the time. In fact, we only know about THQ Nordic’s plans as the company included a note at the end of a just-released “SpongeBob SquarePants Halloween Gaming” trailer that states: “SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated… SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake… and… an all-new adventure awaits”. Text for 2025 was included alongside SpongeBob and Patrick turning into ghosts.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe toys have come to McDonald’s Happy Meals

Nintendo has teamed up with McDonald’s a number of times previously, and that’s the case once again with new Mario Kart 8 Deluxe toys in Happy Meals.
Ten different toys are up for grabs. You’ve got Mario, Luigi, Donkey Kong, Toad, Toadette, Bowser, Peach, Yoshi, Pink Gold Peach, and Gold Mario. The bases can actually be swapped, and karts can be customized with a sticker sheet.

Divine Dynamo Flamefrit release date set for November, new trailer

We’ve got a final release date for Divine Dynamo Flamefrit. Announced today, the game will be ready to go on November 21, 2024.
Divine Dynamo Flamefrit, the latest game from Inti Creates, was announced in July. The company had initially provided a winter launch window.
Garten of Banban 6 gets surprise release on Switch

Yet another Garten of Banban game is available on Switch, as Garten of Banban 6 just launched digitally.
Most of the series is now out on the console. However, the fifth, seventh, and eighth entries are not yet on the eShop.
VED release date set for November, new trailer

A few years after it was announced for Switch, VED finally has a release date. Fulqrum Publishing and developer Karaclan announced today that the game is arriving on November 14, 2024.
You may recall that the story-driven RPG was unveiled at the start of 2021. Although it was first slated for 2022, the game ended up taking significantly longer to complete.

Irem Collection Volume 2 release date set for November, first trailer

ININ, Tozai Games, Irem, and Strictly Limited Games have set a release date for Irem Collection Volume 2. It’ll be ready to go for Switch on November 14, 2024.
Irem Collection Volume 2, which includes Air Duel, GunForce, and GunForce II, was originally planned for February. But ININ ended up delaying the release to an unspecified date.

Savant: Ascent Remix release date set for December, new trailer

It’s been quite a bit since we last heard about Savant: Ascent Remix, but D-Pad Studio just came through with a release date. The game launches for Switch on December 5, 2024.
Originally known as Savant: Ascent Anniversary Edition, the game was announced in March 2023 and was planned for that summer. The project ended up experiencing an extensive delay, but is now just on the horizon.
Broken Sword – Shadow of the Templars: Reforged confirmed for Switch

August 16: Revolution Software today confirmed that it’s working on a Switch version of Broken Sword – Shadow of the Templars: Reforged and shared a release date for the game. The title will be available for Nintendo’s console on September 19, 2024.
Broken Sword – Shadow of the Templars: Reforged is an updated version of the classic point-and-click adventure game. Redone graphics and enhanced audio are a couple of the highlighted features. In fact, you can easily swap between the new visuals of the original and Reforged.
