Mangavania

Sometimes You will publish Mangavania on Switch this month, the company has announced. A release is planned for April 26, 2023.

Mangavania is an old school action platformer game with pixel art graphics. Here’s a brief overview, as shared by Sometimes You:

Shepherd's Crossing

Success Corporation is releasing Shepherd’s Crossing on Switch worldwide, the company announced today. It’ll be out this June.

Shepherd’s Crossing previously launched in Japan last November. After June, the Japanese version will be updated with English support. However, the western version will only be playable in English.

Redemption Reapers update 1.3.0

Another update has been made available for Redemption Reapers – specifically version 1.3.0.

The update includes a couple of additions with the icon of range and help page for the range. It also comes with adjustments and bug fixes.

Souno's Curse

Kiro Team has been creating Souno’s Curse, and fans have helped development progress. Over on Kickstarter, it was previously funded having raised more than €20,000.

The Legend of Tianding physical west

The Legend of Tianding previously had a physical release on Switch in Asia, but it turns out we’re getting the same treatment now in the west as well. Limited Run Games is coming through with its own boxed copy. However, there are no plans for any special editions.

Hello Kitty and Friends Happiness Parade

Original (3/30): Publisher Rogue Games and developer Dabadu Games today announced Hello Kitty and Friends Happiness Parade, a new rhythm title for Switch. It will be available digitally on April 13, 2023.

Hello Kitty and Friends Happiness Parade has players joining Hello Kitty and her ten iconic Sanrio friends like Kerokerokeroppi, Badtz-Maru, Pompompurin, and more as they bounce their way through a colorful universe and march to the beat of over 40 catchy tunes. While this game previously appeared on mobile, the Switch version will offer twenty new exclusive tracks.

Psychic 5 Eternal

Original (9/12): Today, publisher City Connection and developer CRT Games revealed Psychic 5 Eternal for Switch. A release is planned for Spring 2023.

Psychic 5 originally released for arcades in 1987. The action game has players going on a mission to save their friends in a vast maze kept by the Demon King.

Disney Speedstorm Figment

Disney Speedstorm today revealed the latest addition to its roster, with Figment set to be a playable character. This will be available as part of Season 1.

Figment may come as a surprising addition for some as we’ve typically seen representatives from popular movies. For those that are unaware, the purple dragon is the mascot of the “Imagination!” pavilion at the Epcot theme park at Walt Disney World Resort.

Mario Library of Congress

It’s a first for the Library of Congress today, as the Super Mario Bros. theme by Koji Kondo is the first piece of video game music to enter the registry. It will be joined by other songs like Madonna’s “Like a Virgin,” Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You”, and more.

Regarding the selection, the Super Mario Bros. theme has been selected due to its international recognition and staying power over the past few decades. It’s also featured in the just-released Mario movie, which Kondo also contributed to.

Them's Fightin' Herds update 5.0.0

Them’s Fightin’ Herds has received its latest update, version 5.0.0.

Today’s update is highlighted by the addition of Stronghoof the Reindeer as a new character, though you’ll need to purchase it as DLC. Also included are new palettes, bug fixes, and more.
