Reincarnation Game

Reincarnation Game was announced for Nintendo Switch today, and it’s a notable reveal as the creators of Dragon Quest and Blue Lock are involved. The title launches digitally next year in Japan.

Any is handling development while ArtePiazza will be publishing. Yuji Horii, known for his work on Dragon Quest, is an advisor. Muneyuki Kaneshiro, who is behind the Blue Lock manga, is the concept planner. It is the first collaboration between these two.

Today, solo developer Thomas Waterzooi announced Please, Touch The Artwork 2 for Nintendo Switch. The title launches on May 23, 2025.

Please, Touch The Artwork 2 is a spiritual sequel to the cozy puzzler, but this time around players will go on a journey through the iconic paintings of James Ensor. The short hidden-object adventure game features five unique worlds.

As shared by Hamster, Super Xevious will be appearing on Nintendo Switch as the console’s latest Arcade Archives games. All major regions are getting it tomorrow, May 1.

Super Xevious only released in Japan in 1984. It’s actually very similar to the original Xevious, which was a vertical shoot ’em up title.

Original: If you’ve just downloaded the new 20.0.0 firmware update for Nintendo Switch, you’ll now have access to a new Donkey Kong icon.

The design is pictured below. This version of the character is based on his appearance in Donkey Kong Bananza and Mario Kart World. The icon is built in right into the system itself, meaning you don’t need to earn it through Nintendo Switch Online via My Nintendo Platinum Points.

Nintendo Switch update 20.0.0

A brand new version 20.0.0 update just started distribution for all Nintendo Switch owners. With various features added, this is the biggest upgrade for the system in years.

Virtual game cards, which were announced in a Nintendo Direct about a month ago, are now supported. Switch 2 support is also included with transfers to the console and GameShare for compatible titles. There are other elements to the update as well such as user-verification settings.

Nico Saves the State

April 28: Ratalaika made it known today that it’s bringing Nico Saves the State to Nintendo Switch in just a few days. It’s due out this Friday, May 2.

Nico Saves the State is a 2.5D puzzle-platformer game in which players can use a special phone to save and load their position to beat levels. This mechanic is actually inspired by emulator features.

Nintendo Switch Online Star Wars Episode I Jedi Power Battles, Star Wars Bounty Hunter

Star Wars: Episode I: Jedi Power Battles and Star Wars: Bounty Hunter have both been confirmed as the next Nintendo Switch Online Game Trial in North America.

The promotion begins on April 30 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET, lasting until May 6 at 11:59 PM PT / May 7 at 2:59 AM ET. If you have have a Nintendo Switch Online membership, you can play both titles at no extra cost. Additionally, save data works with the full versions of the games. Those that participate in the Game Trial will be provided with 100 Platinum Points on My Nintendo.

Publisher RedDeerGames has announced Nuclear Gladiators 300 for Nintendo Switch.

Nuclear Gladiators 3000 is a top-down 2D arena shooter developed by Turbo Napalm. The game has you playing as a cast of colorful characters wiping out monsters for the entertainment of an audience, whose satisfaction is gauged by an applause meter.

In this game you try to rebuild civilization in an apocalyptic world by managing a network of settlements across diverse settings, with each having their own specific needs. The dark fantasy roguelite city builder was originally developed by Eremite Games and published by Hooded Horse, with its console port being developed by QLOC.

Duck Detective The Ghost of Glamping

Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping is now confirmed for Nintendo Switch and we even have a release date. It’ll be ready to go on May 22, 2025.

This one is a mystery adventure game. It’s also a sequel to Duck Detective: The Secret Salami, which launched on Nintendo Switch last year.
