Moon Chronicles’ next three episodes have now been approved by Nintendo, and are on track to launch on February 5. That’s according to new tweets from Renegade Kid co-founder Jools Watsham.

Those who have the first Moon Chronicles episode will be able to purchase a $9 season pass for the remaining three. An update will be distributed for episode one that makes buying DLC possible.

Dromble published a fantastic interview with Dan Adelman today. Adelman worked at Nintendo of America for several years and ended up leading the company’s indie efforts, though he departed last year.

Dromble’s interview touches on several topics – third-parties, culture at Nintendo, demos, eShop quality control, and the Virtual Console. You can find excerpts below, and the full discussion here.

Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse finally has a release date for Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. WayForward confirmed on its Twitter account today that the game is due out on February 5. This applies to both versions of Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse – Wii U and 3DS.


Nikki, known for her appearance in the terminated 3DS application Swapnote, will soon be starring in her own game.

As part of today’s Club Nintendo discontinuation announcement, it was revealed that members of the rewards program in Japan will be able to access “Nikki’s Travel Quiz” for 80 points.

Specific details about the title were not shared. It’s currently unknown when Nikki’s Travel Quiz will release, and if it will come to North America and/or Europe.

Gunman Clive 2 is due out next week on the 3DS eShop, creator Bertil Hörberg has confirmed. This applies to both North America and Europe.

The game will be available starting on January 29. Pricing is set at $2.99.

Club Nintendo is coming to an end, including in Japan. Nintendo updated the rewards service for a final time today with another batch of rewards.

Members can obtain a Yoshi case, small Kirby blanket, storage case, and a handful of Virtual Console titles. The lineup of classic titles is as follows:
