Nintendo has provided an updated look at the age distribution of annual playing users on Switch, which we have above. President Shuntaro Furukawa pointed out in a briefing today that there are all types of users ranging from kids to seniors. Over the past year, the number of annual playing users has grown across all age groups.
Also highlighted is a graph of annual playing users. This is the number of users, out of all Nintendo Accounts registered to Switch systems, who played software on the device during the given 12-month period. Furukawa pointed out that “multiple people play on the same Nintendo Switch, which means that hardware sell-through numbers are not the maximum number of annual playing users.”
