Switch has now outsold the PS4 in the US

Based on the latest data from the NPD Group, Switch has outsold the PlayStation 4 in the United States.
Switch is now the fourth highest unit selling console in US history. It’s the sixth highest unit selling video game hardware platform overall. When looking at consoles, it’s only behind the PS2, Xbox 360 and Wii.

ININ Games has announced a final release date for Wonder Boy Collection, a package of four classic titles for Switch. The release is planned for June 3, 2022.
Wonder Boy Collection contains Wonder Boy (1986), Wonder Boy in Monster Land (1987), Wonder Boy in Monster World (1991), and Monster World IV (1994). Here’s some additional information:

During the Q&A portion of its latest financial briefing, Nintendo was asked about how it plans to maneuver to the next generation of hardware.
President Shuntaro Furukawa addressed the topic, and stressed the importance of Nintendo Accounts. With these accounts, Nintendo is “focusing on building long-term relationships with our consumers” The company will also release more games for Switch in the immediate future, and fans will be able to “experience our IP through other non-gaming channels.” The answer also mentioned: “one of our tasks is ensuring the transition to future generations of hardware is as smooth as possible.”

Nintendo reported its financial results this week, but didn’t have much to say about Nintendo Switch Online. During the Q&A portion of its briefing though, the company provided an update.
President Shuntaro Furukawa noted that “it is important to continuously make the service more compelling through the addition of titles that utilize online gameplay and improvements to the service itself.” He would later say that Nintendo “will continue to expand upon the service and deliver various content throughout the year.”

Nintendo Switch Sports “off to a very good start” worldwide, Nintendo president says

Nintendo president Shuntaro Furkawa has commented on the initial sales performance of Nintendo Switch Sports, noting that the game is “off to a very good start” worldwide.
Thus far we only know that the game sold nearly 200,000 physical copies in Japan in its first week. The game has since moved 300,000 units in the country as of May 8.

Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery gets new CG and gameplay trailers

XD and Sunborn Network today unveiled a new CG trailer and gameplay preview for Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery, their upcoming tactical RPG.
Starting with the CG video, XD says it “transcends the player into the Reverse Collapse universe, where, Jefuty, the protagonist sets foot on a treacherous journey to survive the war. The animated trailer sheds light on Jefuty’s backstory that undertakes in the depth of winter and introduces the new character, Sugar, who may look amiable and cute in the front, but her spiked tail discloses her actual character in the back, malicious and fierce.”
Oxide Room 104 coming to Switch June 17, new trailer

Oxide Room 104 now has a confirmed release date of June 17 on Switch, and publisher Perp Games and Wildsphere have released a new trailer to celebrate, showing off more of the gameplay and atmosphere of the psychological horror title.
