Eufloria HD hitting Switch this week

Eufloria, an ambient strategy game, first appeared in 2009 before receiving an HD version later on. According to an eShop listing, the title will soon be gracing Switch. QubicGames will be handling publishing duties on behalf of developer Omni Systems.

Nintendo just released a new video that offers up some insight into the best-selling indie games of 2021 on Switch.
Today’s news comes by the way of a special video the company just published. We see some notable faces here like Cyber Shadow, Doki Doki Literature Club Plus, and Eastward. Some smaller titles also made the list like Curse of the Dead Gods and Road 96.

Hamster has confirmed its latest Arcade Archives game on Switch, revealing that players will soon be able to get their hands on Mutant Night. It will launch digitally on December 30.

Touken Ranbu Warriors trailer introduces Tomoegata Naginata

Touken Ranbu Warriors has received its latest character trailer from DMM Games, Nitroplus, Omega Force, and Ruby Party that shows off Tomoegata Naginata. Hirofumi Nojima is behind the character’s voice in the game.

- New Heroes summoning events and corresponding Forging Bonds events are returning as event revivals! This time it’s Forces of Will. You can choose one 5-Star focus Hero to summon for free and get a Celestial Stone after summoning 40 times in this event.
- Forging Bonds Revival: Forces of Will is here! Play the event to earn 10 Divine Codes (Part 2) the first time you clear a map (once per day, up to seven days). Earn rewards like First Summon Tickets to be used in the Forces of Will summoning event!

Visual novel Mothmen 1966 to appear on Switch in 2022

Publisher Chorus Worldwide, along with developer LCB Game Studio, have announced that they’re bringing Mothmen 1966 to Switch. The visual novel is due out on Switch in 2022.
Mothmen 1966 tells a story that involves strange happenings of the Leonid meteor shower of 1966 and how it is connected to sightings of the human-sized, red-eyed winged creatures of the night known as the “Mothmen”. The plot is focused around Lee, a college student taking his girlfriend on a seemingly perfect date. The two go to Holt’s gas station to watch that evening’s once in a lifetime meteor shower for the best view. Lee meets Lou Hill there, and his life is forever changed.

Nintendo president warns of more supply issues for Switch in 2022

2022 may continue to bring about supply issues for Switch consoles, Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa said this week. This comes amid the usual reasons of semiconductors and logistical issues that we’ve been seeing not just across the gaming industry, but the larger technology field.
Furukawa did say that Nintendo’s end of 2021 sales were good, and the Switch OLED model contributed to that strong performance. However, Black Friday saw its fair share of issues. Nintendo used air transportation to help with demand and in Europe the company used rail transportation for the first time.
