Once Upon a Puppet release date

March 20: Today, Daedalic Entertainment and Flatter Than Earth nailed down the release date for Once Upon a Puppet. The game heads to Nintendo Switch on April 23, 2025.

Once Upon a Puppet was just revealed for Nintendo’s console in February. While we were given a 2025 release window at the time, it turns out the wait wasn’t overly long.

The Hundred Line Last Defense Academy updates

Today, it was announced that The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy will be getting a series of post-launch updates. Patches are planned based on player feedback.

Details about the first update are already available. Fans can expect the following:

Original: Another Nintendo Switch 2 leak has emerged, this time showing the actual device being turned on. While it’s small in the grand scheme of things, it’s actually the first time we’re able to see this.

Nintendo Switch 2, of course, has not officially launched. That won’t be happening until next Thursday, June 5. However, Russian Telegram channel Pops & Culture appears to have received a unit early somehow – likely through some sort of retailer leak.


Farming Simulator: Signature Edition

Giants Software is making Farming Simulator: Signature Edition for Nintendo Switch 2, the company just announced. Fans will be able to pick it up this winter.

Farming Simulator: Signature Edition is a comprehensive edition of Giants Software’s hit simulation game. It will include 400+ authentic machines, 25 crops, and 3 maps for agricultural variety. New content will be made available after launch to enhance the user experience.

Arcade Archives Super World Court

For the latest Arcade Archives release on Nintendo Switch, it’s been announced that Super World Court is on the way. The game launches tomorrow, May 29.

Super World Court comes from Namco having originally launched in 1993. The sports title is a sequel to Pro Tennis World Court.

Soma, Amnesia Rebirth, Amnesia The Bunker

January 14: Soma, Amnesia: Rebirth, and Amnesia: The Bunker have all been announced for upcoming release on Nintendo Switch. This comes as part of a new partnership between Abylight and Frictional Games. Release dates weren’t announced, but they’ll presumably be arriving later in 2025.

Soma, Amnesia: Rebirth, and Amnesia: The Bunker are all horror games. Here’s a bit of information about each one:

Dysmantle physical

10tons is celebrating a sales milestone for Dysmantle with a new physical release on Nintendo Switch.

Since launch, the game has sold over two million copies. It will now be receiving a physical release in Europe where it’s set to come out on June 27, 2025. Currently there’s no word on a boxed version for North America, but importing is an option.

Nintendo Switch update 20.1.0

May 27: The latest firmware update for Nintendo Switch, version 20.1.0, is now available to download.

While it’s not a massive upgrade, it does go beyond the typical stability improvements we typically see. The notable changes involve the Parental Control settings and the sound for the Nintendo Switch Online app launcher.

Following the Nintendo Switch 20.1.0 system update, the Nintendo Switch Online application on Switch has been massively updated as well. The changes to the user interface were not detailed in the patch notes for the system update, but match the previously reported images of the Switch 2’s online app.
